Dunno how it can go ahead if true. If Eubank loses he has a ready made excuse and public will be pissed off.

It’s still going ahead at the moment. Had Eubank winning this anyway but if he were to lose I suppose it gives him an easy get out after saying he’d retire if Benn beats him. Now he can just say all that’s out the window as Benn cheated so it doesn’t really count.

Apparently failed in September and has since tested negative.

Female fertility drug that enhances testosterone.

Statement from both promotions say the fight will go ahead.

Taking clomid?

From what I remember - it's mostly used in post cycle therapy so he's been cycling something a lot stronger beforehand if true.

What a clown, hope Eubank smashes him even more than i originally wanted him too.

Hearn loves a juicer in his stable.

 Brilliant.

BBBC have forbidden the fight taking place. Unreal.

I wonder if they can just circumvent the BBBoC seeing as it's a non-title fight and get somebody else to license it like they did with Haye-Chisora all those years ago?

Feels like too big a fight to fall through at this late stage, especially when all parties want it to happen still.

Fight will happen and he'll still get smashed. Shame though , way to shit on the family name.

And what's this about a Lizzy belt custom made by the WBC for the shields fight

Eddie Hearn trying to get the fight sanctioned by Luxembourg

I think they would have but time constraints mean it would probably be unlikely.

I liked Benn leading up to this but now don’t know how to feel about him. Pissed me off royally.

Benn should know the dangers of boxing after his dad's fight with Gerald McClellan. Taking any banned substance for advantage is disgusting.

What happens if Benn goes in and knocks the absolute shit outa Eubanks, everyone kinda expecting Eubanks to win would be a very dark day for boxing..

I had a feeling something would happen to jeopardise this fight. I'm really looking forward to it as the build up has been great. It's weird because I love Nigel but am not a fan of his son whereas I love Eubank JR yet never was his father's biggest fan.

No ones has come out of this looking particularly good have they, especially the promoters still trying to find a way for it to happen.

The BBoC only seem to have owned up to knowing when it was leaked in the press too. They've known for ages. Weird.

Benn will struggle to explain this away too as i can't imagine it's found naturally in anything he should be near.

Why was the fight even sanctioned in the first place? The weight difference is far too big

Them rats Hearn and Kalle better get some good security because the legend that is Eubank Sr is ready to feck someone up.

However, Warren told The Daily Mail: "A few of us have known about this earlier test for some time. That makes it even more of a scandal. More damaging to our sport than everyone thought.

Does he think this makes him sound good?

Imagine the shame and embarrassment Nigel is feeling. Not only does he now have to explain and excuse his son away, but his own ventures and appearances will be impacted, too.

If Conor isn’t ‘just’ a cheat, I’d speculate that the pressure to honour the family name and not lose to a rival of said name, has driven him to this. He’s smaller, less experienced and arguably less skilled, so taking this fight wasn’t the smartest thing to do in the first place, but in trying to emulate the man he idolises, he’s driven himself to cheat to try and get an equaliser and avoid, what he perceives to be, letting his dad/Benn name down.

What’s even worse is the ammo this gives the Eubank’s to slaughter both Benn’s until the end of time. That is something Nigel will struggle with because Chris simply won’t let up with the endless needle.

Calamity all-round for the Benn’s. Conor has a lot of work to do to now get his own career back on track; he’ll never be the draw he could’ve been again. He won’t even get his previous regard back. It really is a disaster for him as an up and coming talent.

Absolute shambles all round. Feel for Nigel he must be fuming, the embarrassment his son has brought to the name. Makes it even worse nearly everyone involved seemed to know about this already before it became public. Not a good look for boxing.

Eddie Hearn is the king of deflection and hot air. It's always someone else fault.

What on earth is this due process cr*p he's going on about? i've got no issue with Benn getting a fair hearing but i can't get my head round why the event was even being considered to go ahead once there was a failed test.

He's seems to have dropped the blame on the BBBoC as they don't recognise VADA and only refused to sanction the fight late in proceedings but the morally correct thing to do was surely to pull the fight once they had the results almost 2 weeks prior to this. I'd be fuming if i was an undercard fighter.

A couple of points i've picked up on of Eddie's based on what's been released:

- He's made a big point about paying a fortune to have VADA on board, why would they if they weren't clean etc., however, most press are reporting Benn has previously refused and has only signed up this time cos it would affect his world ranking if he didn't.
- "He passed the UKAD testing"; this has been confirmed to have taken place well after the failed test date so could be out of his system and is therefore irrelevant.

I'm pretty sure Nigel started feeling faint before refusing a drug test immediately after the McClelan fight, so maybe the apple hasn't fallen far from the tree with Conor.
