Vidal? Forgot all about him
Yes, Alex vidal. They gave him a similar +2 just because he signed for them. No idea where he is in real life or in SM now. You'd think something like that would make them wait.

He's the 2nd most valuable CB.

David Alaba - 95 - (£61,659,000)
Samuel Umtiti - 93 - (£43,881,000)
Raphaël Varane - 93 - (£43,081,000)
Marquinhos - 93 - (£42,613,000)
Sergio Busquets - 94 - (£41,575,000)
Casemiro - 93 - (£40,790,000)
Gerard Piqué - 94 - (£38,068,000)
Sergio Ramos - 94 - (£36,440,000)
Diego Godín - 94 - (£34,420,000)
John Stones - 92 - (£34,120,000)
Alaba at 95 is a joke.

1 CL Winner
6 Bundesliga Winner
4 Pokal Winner
1 Fifa World Cup Winner
1 UEFA SuperCup Winner

4 goals, 4 assists last season in the bundesliga. 3 assists in the CL. 1 goal in Pokal. 16 clean sheets last season in Bundesliga alone.

Put that into perspective, Ramos had 5 clean sheets in La Liga last season. He got 7 goals but 0 assists. 1 goal, 3 assists in the CL. Ultimately the system rewards defenders and keepers for that matter who get clean sheets, it's why Atletico defenders are rated pretty highly.

I bloody hope Portugal are reviewed next. Need Martins and Marcano to rise to 89. Eredivisie would be fun for my young risers, would help my youth table score

Review pretty much over for me. I have Pavon, Saracchi and Haidara the only left where i expect rises. Ziyech having a good season but already 90 and Dolberg has been wank.

21 rises so far so i'm expecting 24 in total. Will post the full list when review is over for me. Have to be happy with that, a few SM blunders aside.

I've got 24 players left that haven't been rated yet.

My players left to be reviewed:

Cedric Zesiger (19/78): Switzerland
Kieran Tierney (20/86): Scotland (would probably be summer next year though)
Dante Rigo (18/73): Netherlands (unlikely to get much)

Bundesliga and the Pokal are almost givens every year though. I don't think a Bundesliga player should be so high personally. Not sure if international football (non club) plays a part, but he's frickin Austrian!

Bundesliga was the 2nd most successful league in Europe (thats determined by results in Europe). Granted most of their points come from Bayern and Dortmund but the point still stands. However results this season in the CL have shook things up with the Premier League finally getting some form and Borussia Dortmund collapsing with a few poor results from Bayern have pushed them down to 4th now.

Last season it was Spain (miles ahead of everyone else), with Germany 2nd and England a close 3rd. Italy miles away in 4th. Right now however things have switched round with Spain still miles ahead but England have closed the gap, Italy are now 3rd and Germany have dropped to 4th. France aren't too far away in 5th.

Once RS has done the mockups for the site and it is in progress, you'll be able to see all the top ratings. Alaba definitely isn't the strangest rating. Like Phil says, it is a consequence of the ratings being done purely on stats.

Aye, we've got the benefit of having a system which not only rates clubs but also rates leagues depending entirely on results. I don't do anything to sway the results at all, simply update the stats and let the system churn out the results. That's the whole point of it, it's completely objective, all players, clubs and leagues share the same rules.

Lost as expected. Ronaldo had 5 commentary chances and missed every single one and got a 9 rating. So broken.

The 2D engine doesn't even work on firefox half the time. I have to end up playing the first half on fast forward and if none of the other matches have got a goal after 20 mins I know it is broken and have to switch to chrome for my biweekly disappointment.

He didn't even have a shot in commentary so kinda hard to score then. Messi not even taking a shot in a game is still more unrealistic than Ronaldo missing 5 tbf.

Hah, Leo scored off the bench for me in the good old days of when I could get a point in a league game.

Was even more suprised when Griezmann got the MOTM.

Next game is a Shield game against the mighty Bradford City ahead of the game where Spurs are gonna thrash United 10:0 with Messi getting 7 goals.
