2:0 win away to Atletico.

De Gea (94)

Aurier (91) Ramos (95) Boateng (94)⚽ Rodriguez (91)
Pogba (93) Eriksen (92)
Götze (93) Griezmann (95)⚽➕⭐ Özil (94)➕
Messi (99)

Subs: Martial (90), Sterling (91), Isco (92), Silva (90), Roberto (91), Gaya (89), Matip (90)
Injured: Bale (95)
Didn't travel: Dier (90), Goretzka (89)

Key:
⚽ = Goal
➕ = Assist
⭐ = MOTM
= Subbed off
= Subbed on

Next up: away trip to Villa in the Shield. Unlikely to win.

How the English teams are doing:

SMFA Cup
Group A: Arsenal - top with 9 points
Group B: Man City - second with 7 points
Group C: Man Utd - top with 7 points
Group D: Everton - top with 9 points
Group E: Newcastle United - top with 9 points

I can't see the SMFA Shield tables but looking at the results tonight it doesn't look great for them.

Fulham and Chelsea are top and all but qualified the rest are average.

Doing quite well in the SMFA Shield
3 wins from 3
those courses I sent my assistant on during the break helped

Need a big win tonight against Wolves in the Shield since I have Chelsea in the cup
Last seasons cup runs were financial boosts

Mbappe almost ruined it for me as well. Narrow 2-1 win. GG, Harriers.

My brain can't get pregnant!
I had a bye when the cash would have been useful. Typical. And up next I have MK Dons and the Janners Plymouth Argyle ffs. So out of both cups for me then. :(

A lucky win against United for me, was not expecting that! Got Leyton Orient in the next round.

Most of the starting XI is now fully fit again, except for Alderweireld and Candreva.

Cheers, we put up a better fight than I expected and my counter formation nearly earned us a draw. I think I went a little too defensive to start with, switching to normal seemed to work better in the last 30 minutes.

I took this game too lightly, really. Never playing those tactics again.

Big week coming up:

Today: Darlington (H)
Sunday: Fulham (A)
Monday: Athletic Club (A)
Tuesday: Arsenal (H)
Next Thursday: Wolves (H)

And then after that I play Arsenal in the league. Good chance I could be out of the Shield and the top four by the end of those fixtures.

Spurs keeper got a 10 and MOTM sums it up. Draw away to them not the end of the world.

Season going well with loads of consistency, Oblak back to his normal performance of a 5 giving Norwich an easy goal in the first minute.... finished 1-1

Ah mind games. With the injuries I've got, I've resigned myself to early cup exits so gonna put out a strong team against you and full second string against @Varun. Good luck against Chelsea.
Your 2nd string would be as good as my 1st 11 now I reckon :D

Another draw for Barnsley. Keeping a tight ship at the moment. Still 10th but 2 point above relegation zone. It is tight at the moment. One striker and a centre back will complete my team.

Anyone selling a 91 striker or 88 / 89 defender?

I could sell Kane/Icardi but it'd be for some delicious p/ex deal. As far as CBs go, I can sell you Papa/Tah but then again, don't see who you can offer in exchange. I'm cool with doing a deal with a buy back clause so you can have him for a season if the other guys don't mind.
