Emery has always relied on a player like him, in his Sevilla that role was played by Iborra, similar kind of player. Just as Plan B for the last 30-40 minutes of a match, or full tough physical matches. I mean, it wouldn't be the most important part of the team, but it really fits Emery's football / roles.
