But this forum has a cult of personality around transfers so of course every big name player we get linked with is automatically worth it.
He is certainly worth as much as an uncapped right back.
If we had a player of his talent we would not be after him, unfortunately we must want him so we will have to pay or persist with the rubbish players we have.
And maybe top teams do think he is worth it but already have very capable players and he is not needed. We are only a top team by name now and not talent on the pitch.
He's worth it because as you say we need him. If you need a player, you pay what it takes.
Chilwell has been heavily linked to City. If he leaves Leicester it seems unlikely he'd come here at this moment in time, unfortunately.
