The money part is one thing, but I recall Mbappé saying when he joined PSG that the best French players should play in France. If Aulas’ view is that if Ndombele has to leave Lyon, he wants him to stay in France, then I appreciate that.
France produces more talent for other leagues than most at the moment, and their league needs to increase its profile.

Brandt has blossomed more centrally this season. Thorgan and Sancho on the wings for sure. Reus has been playing as #10 with Gotze false 9 so don't know what will happen there, if they'll have Reus as the #9 and Brandt as #10 instead or Reus and Brandt both in midfield with either Delaney or Witsel behind them (might be a bit too offensive).
He's certainly not what we need right now and we'd be stupid if we spend our entire budget on him
