Yeh pretty much, we need starters in about 5 positions, city are perfect in almost every position and just need back-up and champions league know how.29 is old for us, but 36 is great for City.
“Anything other than the CL / La Liga / PL / WC isn’t football” innit mate. Why post all these lower league transfers, it literally just feels like reading spam at this point.
... Yawn“Anything other than the CL / La Liga / PL / WC isn’t football” innit mate.
Who the feck are BBW?Why post all these lower league transfers, it literally just feels like reading spam at this point.
Fat chicks FCWho the feck are BBW?
Borrowing money from the bank is cheating. Have you seen our debt? This shouldn’t be allowed. It’s blatantly cheating. If you don’t have the money you shouldn’t be buying the player.
They need to get serious about FFP.
What?Borrowing money from the bank is cheating. Have you seen our debt?
So what?... Yawn
They're pretty irrelevant yeah. Everytime the tweet thread has like 40 alerts there's always several random Shrewsbury, Luton signings etc.
Brisbane Broncos women mate, they're a rugby team. psychWho the feck are BBW?
Yeah I looked them up. Couldn’t find any wearing the official kit however.Brisbane Broncos women mate, they're a rugby team. sike
Okay I will.So what?
I mean, Most of that thread isn’t really that interesting.
Literally 573 of pages of either made-up rumors, or news about the same 6 players, and the selling clubs trying to squeeze every last bit of penny from buying clubs.
Really forgettable transfer window so far.
Stop being so close minded.
I share your opinionOkay I will.
You said Barcelona shouldn’t be able to sign Griezmann because they had to borrow money from the bank. Nearly all clubs borrow money. With that logic we wouldn’t be able to sign anyone until our huge debt was repaid. What?

No. Not by that logic at all. In fact, quite the opposite. You said Barcelona shouldn’t be able to sign Griezmann because they had to borrow money from the bank. Nearly all clubs borrow money. With that logic we wouldn’t be able to sign anyone until our huge debt was repaid.
Arsenal are due a relegation in 5 years time if nothing changes.Tweet

Not sure about relegation exactly but they’re due a battle or few alright.Arsenal are due a relegation in 5 years time if nothing changes.
They’re in absolute shambles and smaller clubs have more buying power than they do now.
They’re in for a tough ride.
Never know, maybe they expect the transfer market to burst in the next few years so by saving now when everyone is spending they'll be better off longterm? Don't see it happening but would be pretty funny if they somehow came out on topNot sure about relegation exactly but they’re due a battle or few alright.
[Maguire money pending] Leicester have already blown Arsenal out of the water this closed season & Everton have already signed Andre Gomes with more to come.
I just don’t get how they are so hamstrung.
I guess Arsenal's 10 year plan to pay the £25m fee wasn't enticing for Celtic.Tweet

Hopefully Arsenal keep these low-ball offers up and Celtic have enough of them trying to take the p!ss. Then they keep him for another season, then we sign him next year. Which would make me very happy.Tweet

Would be the ultimate long game but even if the PSG & City bubble burst they’d still have to battle United, Bayern, Juve, Real, Barca, Spurs, Chelsea [Now they’re trying to play by the rules].Never know, maybe they expect the transfer market to burst in the next few years so by saving now when everyone is spending they'll be better off longterm? Leicester still have the Mahrez money to spend which they are spending this summer. They've also been recruiting very well. Not sure about relegation exactly but they’re due a battle or few alright.

How is this cheating if you're able to service the debt? This shouldn’t be allowed. It’s blatantly cheating. If you don’t have the money you shouldn’t be buying the player.

Agree that in this market, it’s peanuts but £25M is an absolute staggering amount of money for Celtic. There is hardly any money in Scottish football.25m isnt much for Tierney to be honest in this market.

hahhahaaThe final feck you at moyes. Waiting till his contract ends to sign one of his targets.
Am I the only one who really wants to see Everton sign for his namesake club just for the commentary hilarity?
I hope he does well, he looked promising when he first began to break through at Southampton and then I remember his dad died and he went off the radar.Tweet

Not before my time at all. Are you seriously going to say Gary's main attribute was his speed? The man had so much to his game, positional sense, awareness, tackling, heading, but he wasn't known for his speed. He wasn't the slowest, I never said that, just he wasn't the fastest either and his game relied on much more than a turn of pace.Did you just ruin that post by saying pallister wasn't quick?
Before your time maybe?
He was thought of as fast. It may be today that he wouldn't be, but at the time he certainly was.Not before my time at all. Are you seriously going to say Gary's main attribute was his speed? Yes, next to Bruce he was a rocket, but he wasn't fast, nor was he respected or thought of for his speed.
