Was surprised to hear on Neville's MNF piece we still have one of Moyes' men in scouting?!
We have:

-Jim Lawlor long-serving chief scout, Fergie's man

-Steve Brown co-ordinator of all scouting, former Everton's team scouting & recruitment co-ordinator, we hired him in 2016

-John Murtough head of football development, Everton’s former head of performance, Moyes's man

-Marcel Bout head of global scouting, former LvG's coach specialising in opposition scouting, we promoted him in 2016

-Matt Judge head of corporate development, Woodward's right hand, he conducts the key negotiations with the player's agents

And we had Javier Ribalta chief scout, 2017-2018, he left after 1 year

It's a totally mess.

How many scouts do we really need in this day and age? Any kid that plays fifa or football manager could do a better job than these guys.

"...Herrera's deal with the Parisian side will see the player net eight million euro per season..."
Bye, bye incredibly overrated on here having had a few good spells in 5 years at the club.

His battling style is commendable, but those pointless, miles wide, shots from outside the box on Sunday sums up why we shouldn't be sad that he's leaving.

The bolded all need to leave!!!

We need to simplify our structure too many people have been acting busy whilst not contributing to anything.

If they get him for that price, I'm going to start asking questions about what out scouts are doing? This guy fits every criteria we require.
Our scouts and recruiting department has been absolutely clueless since 2013.

If he had stayed here it would have showed a complete lack of ambition. Don't blame him for going one bit.

I am not arsed about any of our players leaving. 99% of them are mediocre and all of them don't care about the club, so why worry about any of them. Pogba is the only world class player and even he doesn't have any emotional connect with the club, so he can leave if he wants.

We need to tear it up root and branch and begin anew. Though we are crippled by Woodward still hanging around, its' something we have no choice but to work past.

This. Wouldn't shed a tear about any of them.

I think you are completely wrong about that.

On our part or his part?

He's going for a final payday, no more, no less.
Maybe. I won't blame him for that either. Especially when he is sat there looking at what Sanchez is picking up for doing nothing. Definite CL football, League titles, Cup medals. Something to show at the end of his career and family set up for life.

Yup. Also has no off the field issues or attitude ones. Talent matched with hard work. There wouldnt be a better right winger for us/Ole. But other clubs are not sleeping.
Bayern don't rate him it seems.
If true with interest in Chiesa, i would also go for him rather than the second best. They would take him if he was cheap, but for the price Lille would demand, they think there are better players out there. I think they are right.

I agree. Chiesa should be a priority if we can't sign Sancho. Chiesa looks to be a special player in the making.

If City sign Fernandes and Felix this summer I'll have had enough of this window already.
Why? Neither of those players are going to make City any better. When you're at the top (like City are) it's very hard to improve, look at their signing of Mahrez - done absolutely nothing for them this season and is their record signing

I really wouldn't worry about what our rivals do this summer

They will. Competition for places and keeping your best players scared of losing their place is what spurs them on to be even more consistent...

City cant get any better, they're on course to have won what 198 points over the last 2 seasons? That's as close to perfection as you can get, and anything better than that domestically is irrelevant as no one is matching their 100/98 points return anyway

I don't think competition for places is going to help them overcome their UCL mental block they have either
