Note to BvB. This is how you do business in a dignified and respectful manner bearing in mind the current global financial climate and surrounding circumstances.

Not quoting a ridiculously inflated price, unnecessarily prolonging negotiations, leaking bullshit quotes when you know your player wants to leave, getting your CEO to taunt potential buyers through social media and getting your social media team to join in the shithousery.

Still in for Sancho
Nurse cutting through the club briefed nonsense, not a guarantee we'll get him by any means but it seems the club is starting to move finally. Hopefully this starts to move again now.

Can't believe we've come to a stage where 40m is a bargain. This has still got to be in the top 30 most expensive transfers of all time, no?
I know what you mean.
This sort of silly talk about being "no lose" as one guy described it as is madness.

We could easily lose. He might not play well and we might be "ROJONESd" up with the wages for years.

Yeah they've turned this into a dick waving contest for some reason.

Ajax were extremely pleasant to deal with for us when we bought Ziyech as well. Made him a long tribute video, wished him luck, and told us to take good care of him.

They seem to take genuine pride watching the star players they develop "graduate" to bigger clubs.

Exactly. They should have recognised we're a huge deal of a club and not only massively cut the price, but wished us well on socials.

He earns €8m at Arsenal and Schalke's salary limit is at €2.5m......hmmmhhhh
It's not like this wage cap is set in stone, is it? And just committing to a one year loan is something else entirely than handing out a permanent contract.

That being said it seems like Bild have been reporting a bit more than is mentioned in the tweet:

Is Arsenal really that desperate to loan him out that they would all but pay Schalke money to take him?

That happens with every transfer. Some turn out to be good, some not. 40 million is a bargain in today's market.
Thinking we might lose is like going out and think to yourself - what if I dont have a good time.

Yeah, they don't seem like the kind of club to extort clubs, particularly when it seems their player has the opportunity to move onto bigger and better things. Dortmund, on the other hand, always seem to kick up an absolute stink. And lately they've resorted to some real small-time posts on social media.

I know your post is in jest but the stubbornness and unprofessionalism the club show when it's clear their player is ready to move on can rub clubs up the wrong way, and one day it will come back to bite them on the arse. I'm sure we've offered them the full price (in installments) for Sancho but they're insisting on the full price up front even though they know damn well what's going on in terms of the fall in income worldwide.

Ajax seem like a player orientated club whereas Dortmund seem like a player factory hellbent on maximising profits from players that want to move on. Unless the buying club is Bayern.

I'd love Sancho, but totally agree. VdB, a center back and another attacker would be a great window. They appear so condescending.

I hope they pull the same stunt whenever Haaland decides he wants to leave them. :D

PSV are currently in negotiations for Philipp Max and are confident of the transfer's completion. They've even gone as far as scheduling a medical despite not agreeing a fee with Augsburg. They are currently unwilling to pay 10 million Euros, but they're still in negotiations.
