Yeah it absolutely stinks of it to be honest. 10% as well, why on earth would that be a logical investmentVery high valuation for a very mediocre league. The deal smells of corruption and money laundering.
Heh. Fatto. We'll be hearing about that soon.Tweet

Agreed, he should be playing for a decent midtable team at least. If he couldn't get that then surely a decent continental club. What a waste of a talent. No disrespect to the Saudi league but Pereira is a Prem-level player still in his prime. What is he doing?
Think Villa gets more for their money than City tbhWell the transfer domino escalated quickly in the last week or so. Villa going and spending like that definitely meant they knew they were parting ways with Grealish.
I hope it works out for them. When I think of reinvesting 100m in a few players and it just doesn't sound right to me. I don't think it works out every time.
But we'll find out.
Chasing the money. He will be looking back with a yearWhat a waste of a talent. No disrespect to the Saudi league but Pereira is a Prem-level player still in his prime. What is he doing?
I don’t get this signing when they have Watkins. Ings was quality the seasons before last but brings a poor injury record. Think they’d have been better investing in midfield. Not convinced Buendia will be as good as many assume he will be.Bit much for Ings but great signing still.
What's the rumoured fee for Abraham?
Doesn’t every club already have this role? You’d think they would anyway as it seems a pretty obvious thing to do.Tweet

This seems more like a specialist role rather than a role being conducted by a director. I agree with the premise, though; one would think that every well-run club has such a role.Doesn’t every club already have this role? You’d think they would anyway as it seems a pretty obvious thing to do.
Why can't we have someone with some brains decide these loans for our players?Going on loan to sit on the bench, I hope not.
Chelsea value Tammy at 40 million Pounds, which I'd expect to drop somewhat if Atalanta push for the transfer. What's the rumoured fee for Abraham?
Chelsea are basically getting Lukaku for cash + Tammy

Aye it would certainly be worrying if a club didn’t have someone covering this rather important part of the game. This seems more like a specialist role rather than a role being conducted by a director. I agree with the premise, though; one would think that every well-run club has such a role.
How old will he be in 2026?Tweet

I'd think so.So, do the Lukaku / Kane deals give us a clean run at Haaland next year? Only other club that might be involved are PSG and I don't think Haaland's the sort of player that would spend the next 5 years in the french league.
RM will be busy with Mbappe
City / Chelsea are sorted
Pool / Barca / Bayern / Arsenal / Spurs etc can't compete financially with us
Barca will still be broke
Well Ronaldo is slightly older than Messi so the onus is on him but I can't see Ronaldo retiring any time soon, whether both will still be doing a Ryan Giggs & playing top flight football at 40 remains to be seen.39.
In any other era, Messi would have retired a couple of years ago and lived out the rest of his life with his feet up on the beach.
I bet the only thing that's keeping him going is the nip-and-tuck battle he has going on with Ronaldo over their career stats. Neither is going to back down first. They must absolutely hate each other for not hanging up their boots.
So Inter rejected a bid from Chelsea but Lukaku wants them to accept it. Looks like Rom maybe isn't as happy at Inter as he said he was and badly wants this transfer to happen.
And they’re going to have an Mbappe shaped hole to fill, so who knows what their willing to pay. Just have to hope as you say he won’t fancy playing in the French league but if they lose their prized asset they’ll be desperate to make a statement and will probably offer mega money to him, his dad and that greedy cnut Raiola. So, do the Lukaku / Kane deals give us a clean run at Haaland next year? £102m for Lukaku, christ.Tweet

- Chelsea hope that €120m (£102m) would be enough for Lukaku.
- Lukaku could earn ~£250,000 a week.
- Lukaku was more attainable than both Kane and Haaland this summer.
