This right here is disrespectful from Westham to both United and or Jesse Lingard.Tweet

Well, they are still the biggest club in the world after all so is it really that baffling?I find the obsession players have with Real Madrid baffling. Fair enough when La Liga was the strongest league but it's far from it at the moment, the Prem is the place to be. Imagine a basketball player turning down the NBA to play in the Spanish league because he prefers the weather and lifestyle.
West ham have always been idiots to deal with. The Diop enquiry when Mourinho was here is another example, we were lucky Tevez wasn't actually owned by them at the time. I wouldn't lump Everton in there with them though, they've been pretty decent with us.This right here is disrespectful from Westham to both United and or Jesse Lingard.
We loaned out a player with two years left on his contract to them, said player was fantastic for them and now he has a year left on his contract.
You want the player but not enough to pay a fee for his permanent transfer but will take him on loan so we end up not getting a fee for him.
This is after making significant purchases and bids for players at other clubs.
It's either they dont value Lingard or they think we are fools. We should stop doing buisiness with clubs like West ham and Everton who feel they can always take us to the cleaners for our players.
Think Barca still owned part of his rights whilst at Betis, which they laid Betis for the other half in order to own him outright. He signed for Barcelona this window right?
We are by far the biggest club in England yet players still regularly prefer to sign for City, Liverpool or Chelsea over us.Well, they are still the biggest club in the world after all so is it really that baffling?
Because they win things. We are by far the biggest club in England yet players still regularly prefer to sign for City, Liverpool or Chelsea over us.
That's normal, you sign some players you fail to sign some players. Let's not forget we have been a complete shambles for the best part of the last 7-8 years. We are by far the biggest club in England yet players still regularly prefer to sign for City, Liverpool or Chelsea over us.
PepWe are by far the biggest club in England yet players still regularly prefer to sign for City, Liverpool or Chelsea over us.
I’d say that for a team that has largely won feck all in the last 10 years, we’ve beaten these teams to our fair share of players. We are by far the biggest club in England yet players still regularly prefer to sign for City, Liverpool or Chelsea over us.

Everton paid 20 odd million for Schneiderlin and wanted to pay for Sergio Romero. This right here is disrespectful from Westham to both United and or Jesse Lingard.

But Real Madrid could have Mr Bean in charge and be languishing in mid table and still players would flock to them. Just seems like lack of ambition to me.Pep

To you maybe; to football players looking to sign for a club...it's quite possible it doesMeans absolutely nothing
It wasn't in response to a 'myth'. The question was posed as to why some players prefer to sign for the aforementioned clubs ahead of Utd ' the biggest club in England'.Sancho
Varane
Ronaldo
Can we stop the myth that 'top players' don't want to play under Ole please?
There is that and some will play to further their ambition and some will be happy earning a good living even if it means languishing in mid tableBut Real Madrid could have Mr Bean in charge and be languishing in mid table and still players would flock to them. Just seems like lack of ambition to me.
Why test yourself in the best and most competitive league when you can have a holiday in Spain.

Camavinga signed for Real Madrid yesterday so he's out.Watching Transfer news on Sky Sports since 7 am this morning and will be hoping we bring in the holding midfielder we desperately need. Then let's see us win this league. Fingers crossed for the right one. Tchouameni or Camavinga.
Didn't hear that . Hope it's Tchouameni then.Camavinga signed for Real Madrid yesterday so he's out.
Nothing on message boards or social media to suggest anything. He's ahead of Camavinga in his development so would have made more sense to go all out for himDidn't hear that . Hope it's Tchouameni then.
So signing for Real Madrid automatically shows ambition regardless of where they are at? Does the same apply to signing for AC Milan who are also a massive club?
Yet statistically Oles start is up there with them, bar one thing; silverware.Pep

Which players we've truly been in for have signed for them last few years? We are by far the biggest club in England yet players still regularly prefer to sign for City, Liverpool or Chelsea over us.
They are a historically big club, so a lot of these players probably saw their idols playing for them. They won 3 consecutive CLs just a couple of years ago. They pay massive wages, and the city/weather is great. What's not to like?I find the obsession players have with Real Madrid baffling. Fair enough when La Liga was the strongest league but it's far from it at the moment, the Prem is the place to be. Imagine a basketball player turning down the NBA to play in the Spanish league because he prefers the weather and lifestyle.
I wouldn't put Everton with them. They saved us with Rooney and Scheiderlin. It was our mistake that we didn't buy Fellini on time cheaper than we did eventually. Also, Lukaku' peice seems fair, judging by following the transfer fees. This right here is disrespectful from Westham to both United and or Jesse Lingard.

If AC Milan had won so many UCL in last decade, then yes. Dont forget they are about to sign Mbappe also.So signing for Real Madrid automatically shows ambition regardless of where they are at? Does the same apply to signing for AC Milan who are also a massive club?
But they dont have any money for Lingard .Tweet
