Excellent finish by Selke, well deserved 1-0 lead for us.

Didn't have a chance to watch Italy today, what went wrong for them? Quite surprised by that result.

Czech Republic had a good gameplan, while we hadn't one. We looked a bunch of individuals playing together for the first time.

Okay, thought you had a good chance at winning the whole thing with that squad, which now seems not likely. Thanks anyway.

Both Germany and Denmark are much better than Italy.
Denmark certainly not, Czech yes but mainly because of the useless coach that has already wasted the second opportunity in a row to win the U21 title. The federation choices regarding U21 coaches have been catastrophic in the last 10 years with a number of useless moron put at the helm only based on political reasons.
Italy has actually a very good team this year but they played like individual amateurs rather than a team. That is a shame but well deserved by the our federation managers

I never believe that because we have a useless coach and on top of that Italy always fails when favourite

Well, I had no idea how good or bad your coach is. Just think you've got a promising generation.

yes that is right, we have lots of very good young players who with a decent coach could have won the title

Gentile was our last great manager.

No one could connect to this good low cross here, otherwise England would have probably scored the 2-0.

Imagine having Ward Prowse putting the ball on Zlatans head every game last season.
