What sort of response are you expecting from the players against Villa ?
If they deny it means that it’s true
Fred - bless him. He thinks “the number of players wanting to leave is 17” means “the player who wants to leave is the number 17”. Obvious really.
The press already know who the leaker is. He leaked it to them. You seem to be more of Sonny rather than Michael type of Godfather. If they find out who did it, I hope the management/Ralf leaks it to the press. That person needs to be ostracized. Make a lesson out of him. Godfather style.
I think it's quite clear that the leak was basically coming from one or two players. They would have said that half the squad is disgruntled.

You know they'll all do a Diego Forlan with Newcastle.Born losers. Flog as many as possible to Newcastle where they can have middle of the road careers and thriving Instagram ones
Very good indeed. Well played.Fred - bless him. He thinks “the number of players wanting to leave is 17” means “the player who wants to leave is the number 17”. Obvious really.
Thank youVery good indeed. Well played.
That's right!How does that work?
“Did you leak the news?”
“Yes”
“See, told you it was him”

“No”

Shaw said they weren't all there together on the pitch, not that they weren't all together. So Shaw coming out and saying we're not all together, the performances this season, McKenna, Carrick and Pert all jumping ship the second Ole got sacked and a leak from a United 'source' that apparently is overly concerned about Jesse Lingard's playing time doesn't sound like unrest to you? It was all made up was it because Fred Tweeted he's happy?
Nothing to see here lads, it's all been one big wind up, normal service will resume on Monday with a 5-0 win over Villa now @Champ has us rumbled.
It's complete rubbish,I get that you may want to bury your head in the sand and choose a narrative that comforts you, but it was clearly not all rubbish. Luke Shaw himself pointed to a lack of togetherness, and Rangnick also hinted at it during the presser today.
Another interesting thing Fjortoft pointed out: some of these reports may be coming from one or two players, so they will have their own perspective. Doesn't mean they aren't true, but it is certainly important to keep in mind.
And I also don't ever remember any negative reports about Fred. Unless it was about Ronaldo having a bad influence on the Portuguese speakers at the club, which was all Daily Star BS, as I've said repeatedly.
I think we should get rid of RR (he was a mistake) and let Ronaldo leave. Also, let Pogba, and Lingard leave. Let leaders develop. I am happy to have Carrick back and lead the team for the rest of the season. A well knit Man Utd can and will finish top 4.
It’s been clear for a while to be fair that the squad look disjointed. Neville even pointed it out after the whole Newcastle shambolic performance. It’s not a new thing just because we lost. It's complete rubbish,
Why did this come out after our first loss under RR? Rifts like these don't come about after one loss, they take time to build, seems strange that after this loss all of a sudden there's rifts and issues.
The fact that a player came out and called it fake news should be enough in itself.
People have a tendency to read too much into these things, it's ridiculous really. Ragnick didn't hint at any problems in the dressing room in his press conference, not sure where that's come from?!
Big difference between performing for Man Utd and West Ham. Lingard served up an entire season of terrible performances before he was finally dropped by Ole, so hard to say he didn't get ample chances here. Not to mention some off field antics.i cant understand why Lingard isn't getting a run in the team. On loan he proved to be one of the top players in a very good West Ham team. He just needs the confidence of getting regular games and he will be a top player for us. If we didn't want to play him, we shouldn't have taken him back. Makes zero sense to me. Its not like we are playing really well and he cant get in team. We are playing shit and he is still on bench. Martial and Pogba have had plenty of opportunities and we need rid of them.
Or no Godfather at all and rather a Fredo. The press already know who the leaker is. He leaked it to them. You seem to be more of Sonny rather than Michael type of Godfather.
We need Luca Brasi ASAP.Or no Godfather at all and rather a Fredo.
Like the press would ever snitch. The press already know who the leaker is. He leaked it to them. You seem to be more of Sonny rather than Michael type of Godfather.
Its all about engagements. That's what they sell to commercial partners. So bizarre that they would choose to highlight that tweet. Such a strange club these days.
I hope the club have not hired idiots for our marketing success, cause this would be it (if true)! Its all about engagements. That's what they sell to commercial partners.
Everything they push is designed to maximise the number of interactions. There's no thinking beyond that. Fred's message was out there, getting traction, they wanted to ride that wave. It'd add to the X billion interactions they mention to potential sponsors. That's what we are right now.
Because we have become joke of a club. We're now making a joke of the joke about ourselves. that is a new low
By time it gets to that point its all anonymised. Its just United have had X billion interactions on socials this year, Y more than the next competitor in this market.I hope the club have not hired idiots for our marketing success, cause this would be it (if true)!
The size of the club is too big to think in terms of guerilla tactics. There's a reason you don't see any big company adress reports coming from a shit source. It
essentially is the same as wasting our time responding to a troll.
And if our sponsor is a big company, there is no way they would want to be associated with negative press.
The whole tweet is bizarre to be honest.
Oh it has definitely hired idiots. But then only idiots work in this sort of field so it was fairly inevitable.I hope the club have not hired idiots for our marketing success, cause this would be it (if true)!
I hate itl when people are pedantic. If you are asking me to pay attention to what you wrote, please apply that to yourself. I said in my original post that “IF” the reports are true. That doesn’t imply or suggest I believe them without any sense of scrutiny. Please pay attention to what I wrote.
I've never denied there's a problem with the players.
I've never called the reports BS. But you need to check the credibility of who's saying what. Daily Star is not Stone, Ducker, or Hirst, or Wheeler or Ladyman, journalists I know from past experience have connections at the club that feed them legit stories.
What operators like Daily Star like to do (again, from past experience), is glom onto credible reporters' stories and then add a twist of their own to sensationalize things.
So I'll never believe a word the Daily Star says (about Ronaldo). You're welcome to believe everything written.
Probably. However there's no smoke without fire. There's been too many recent reports of unrest for there not to be any unrest. They're probably exaggerating and the number of people wanting to leave is just guesswork. They've probably heard some stories of unrest and thought oh these guys aren't playing they all want to leave, oh Greenwood and Ronaldo don't seem to get along Greenwood wants to go too etc.Im convinced the press is making loads of shit up
You have made my day much brighter, Kind Sir. Thank you!Fred - bless him. He thinks “the number of players wanting to leave is 17” means “the player who wants to leave is the number 17”. Obvious really.
Most of those have been sub appearances at the back of games. He has not had a run in the team in what is the weakest position in our team. It's probably for another thread but hasn't he played about 1600 minutes in all comps for United? More than enough to show what you are about.
How do you know he can’t prove it in training? Both managers have probably decided he can’t play as part of a two man midfield and yet has not been given a chance to demonstrate he can.If he can’t prove it in training why on earth would he start games? It’s not just one manager who has seen no reason to use him.
Chances with a few minutes as a sub here and there. He hasn’t had a run in the team to show what he can do. The managers have ruled him out playing as a midfield two and considering how weak we are in that position, he should have been given a chance. This is a player who was excelling in the champions league for Ajax.Successive managers haven't deemed him worthy of a run out so he's obviously not showing much in training and hasn't been up to much when he has gotten a chance.
I think it's fair to say he's been a failure at United thus far.
If the manager has ruled him out playing in a midfield 2 it's fair enough. What's confusing, however, is he hasn't even been given a chance in one of the 2 10 positions, despite his creativity and being one of the best passers on our team. We are constantly complaining about the level of passing on our team and players that have no ball retention yet our best passer of the ball is constantly benched.Chances with a few minutes as a sub here and there. If he can't adjust to PL levels of pace and physicality, there's no way he would play in one of the #10 positions. There is a lot of pressing involved there. If the manager has ruled him out playing in a midfield 2 it's fair enough. In this case I think it's probably true. Solskjaer was an easy going people pleaser. Probably told them they were all brilliant even when they played shit week in week out. Now he's gone the shit has hit the fan and the easiest thing to do is leave.Im convinced the press is making loads of shit up
What evidence is there he cannot adjust when he has hardly even featured in the PL? It’s not exactly that the players out there are pressing effectively at all. There is plenty of times where he could have been used in different positions. If he can't adjust to PL levels of pace and physicality, there's no way he would play in one of the #10 positions. I don't know why everyone wants to make excuses for this guy. He's obviously not showing anything in training. He's got a few starts and some cameo appearances and showed very little.Chances with a few minutes as a sub here and there. He hasn’t had a run in the team to show what he can do. No one is making excuses for him. Just stating facts. What evidence do you have he is not showing anything in training? He hasn’t been given a proper opportunity such as a run of games. 2 min sub here and there along with an odd appearance here and there is not enough to demonstrate whether he is good enough or not.I don't know why everyone wants to make excuses for this guy. He's obviously not showing anything in training and he's got a few starts and showed very little.
Yes he played well for Ajax in a system/environment he grew up in and was very comfortable with. Plenty of players haven't been able to cut it in the PL and maybe he's one of them. He's not the magic bullet.
