I don't think I'd have the love I do for South Korea had my older brother not moved to Seoul a decade or so ago to teach English. Introduced me to their whole culture in which I now love.

Argentina, Messi deserves the world cup. His team need to step up.

But, to be honest, I get quite uncomfortable about the way the English support our national team. There's an agressive edge to our patriotism which isn't nice to be in the middle of.
I'd love to see us do well, but I won't be too disappointed to see the bunting come down.

For the first time I am supporting no particular side. I always have a soft corner for the Brazil so maybe will root for them.

In 2014 I was rooting for Argentina because Messi deserved to win and probably will again. That Brazil team was a fraud full of diver cnuts, I was actually laughing during the 7-1. Now, I like Tite and his system and want to see a final between them and one of Spain or Argentina, would love to see De Gea winning too.
The thing is, the Germans were really decent people in that world cup..helped the poor people and the natives in Bahia, were nice to everyone, respected the Brazilian fans...meanwhile the argentinians fans were like a horde in the streets, singing chants against Brazil and saying racists things against the people everywhere(typical).typical brazilian who supported germany against us despite getting humiliated by them LOL

We do respect the Germans. Why would we support Argentina instead of Germany? What you guys did to deserve our support? You need to win at least FOUR world cups and maybe we will support you sometimes..
