His partner has recently had a baby... I mean there can be many reasons for his omission under Ole so far, none of which to do with his footballing ability...I seriously don't know what is he doing on training that Ole does not give him minutes, surely after the Pereira disaster against Burnley he should get a chance. I hope he can prove me wrong, but until now he seems one of our worst signings.
Yet, when Pogba does it, no one bats an eye lid.Looks like he's trying too hard sometimes. I think there's a player in there somewhere but he has to stop giving the ball away and getting caught out of position first before he can get a run in the team.
Surely it's Carrick's job to get him up to scratch?
"We've got Sanchez Paul Pogba and Fred..the Red"?He was bought with amazing foresight. The "waterfall" chant just wouldn't work without him.
True but Pogba's return is immense. Having two Pogba's on the field is a disaster for any team wanting to boss a midfield.Yet, when Pogba does it, no one bats an eye lid.
Yeah, same for me too. I wrote off Lindelof completely last season and this season he is our best CB. It's better to have some patience with players who are from other leagues and takes time to adapt.I was writing of Lindelof too early so I refuse to write off Fred until he has had over a season at the club.
Yeah but that chant isn't going to work anymore when we sell Sanchez and Fred by the start of next season...He was bought with amazing foresight. The "waterfall" chant just wouldn't work without him.
To be honest - having two Pogba's in the team would be a wonder for any team wanting to boss a midfieldTrue but Pogba's return is immense. Having two Pogba's on the field is a disaster for any team wanting to boss a midfield.
The issue is not that he was in Ukraine, plenty of talented players came from there recently, especially the Brazilians. I dont think he has adapted at all. I would give him next season and then sell him if he hasnt improved/stepped up. Ultimately, it is about stepping up and improving on your previous level. he hasnt so far, plays with anxiety. I watched some games in the CL, and while he wasnt consistently great throughout games, he still was on another level compared to Fred here.I am not optimistic.
Spending 50 million on a 25-year old, who has spent the last 5 years in Ukraine, doesn't sound very smart.
Good ,sensible way of thinking about it, but still, him not being able to get minutes and more recently not even being able to make the bench is a bit worrying.I was writing of Lindelof too early so I refuse to write off Fred until he has had over a season at the club.
Thank God, we have also got rational people on this forumI was writing of Lindelof too early so I refuse to write off Fred until he has had over a season at the club.
The difference between Fred and Lindelof; It was easy to see that Lindelof would fit better in a system that did not sit low and defend from crosses. He would always perfom better in a team on the front foot and where the CB would be part of the build up play. With Fred we are still in the dark. Hopefully learning the language and adjusting to the rest of the squad will make him a useful player for the team going forward.Thank God, we have also got rational people on this forum
Team announced?I'm surprised he's not even getting a chance in this game, not even from the bench, I can't see how he's going to play in the next set of games we have if he can't be trusted in this one.
We knew yesterday that he hadn't travelled with the squad.Team announced?
City wanted him.If he can’t make the bench for Fulham then there has to be some doubts as to his future. Actually, I still don’t get why we bought him.
You can't genuinely believe this is how a football club is runCity wanted him.

Exactly.I was writing of Lindelof too early so I refuse to write off Fred until he has had over a season at the club.
