Indeed, we're going to be spoilt in a few years in midfield thats for sure!Ravel Morrison is one of the most exciting talents I've ever seen, without a doubt. For the leaps and bounds Smalling and Jones have made, I can't help but feel more excited about the potential of this lad, I just hope he can leave the issues he's had before behind him and focus entirely on his career here, and he will be a very special player. Pogba as well is an awesome talent, but Morrison for an 18 year old is just scary.
Him and De Gea equally for me. it's just that the latter hasn't made the same impact yet, which is understandable given he came from another country and plays in arguably the toughest position on the pitch to make mistakes in.I said Jones will be the best signing we'd make this season. I'll stick with my prediction.
It was clear even when he played for Blackburn that he was something special. 18 year old anchoring the defence and giving instructions to 30 year old midfielders to push up. Fierce tackler, young lad with a grown mans body, leader even though he had just been handed his debut and so on...How many of you are picking Jones purely on the basis of this season?
That was my point. I don't see it as being right basing it just off his fistful of games for United. Makes sense if one has followed his career at Blackburn and been impressed since. It was clear even when he played for Blackburn that he was something special. 18 year old anchoring the defence and giving instructions to 30 year old midfielders to push up.
He was special even then, but because the team itself was in such turmoil people would only highlight the games in which Blackburn were battered.
There wouldn't be so much attention on his personal life and United wouldn't have stood by him if he wasn't that good.Is Morrisson actually THAT good? (Not a sarcastic question)
I've seen a fair few reserve games and he's looked promising without blowing me away. I certainly thought Pogba looked the better player
He is that good. He's 'pleasing' on the eye. Someone used to say that about Zidane. His manipulation of the ball, his paitence in the last third, his confidence, he ability to run with the ball, his ability in front of goal, his unpredictability.....but he can get better. Hopefully he get's a little stronger because there are thugs in the premiership. Is Morrisson actually THAT good? (Not a sarcastic question)

and Young is hardly a bad signing either.
Yes, he's that good. He has it in him to become something very special if he sticks with us and focuses on solely his career and achieving his ambitions. The talent he has is hard to realistically put into words. I'm not saying he is anything like him, but it would be similar to telling people how good Ronaldo was at 18, it's hard to really describe him apart from saying he has potential for the highest brilliance. Is Morrisson actually THAT good? It will be interesting to see how United fans take to him if/when he gets minutes. Given how the current side is playing at a great tempo, he generally slows the play down to his own tempo. He also doesn't play the obvious pass and sometimes tries to beat an extra man unnecessarily.Yes, he's that good. The amazing thing is is that Jones ist 3 years younger. That is a lot when you are that youngSmalling, on the basis he was awesome for us all last season.
While Jones, de Gea, Welbeck and Cleverley all look amazing talented to me, Smalling has a consistent full season with United under his belt.
When he becomes part of the first team i'm sure that will be beaten out of him. Besides Nani at times can slow play down and tries to beat the extra man, as did Ronnie. He has that natural gift of a flair player, he'll be a player that the fans will get frustrated with initially but allow him to learn for a season or two and he'll become a beast of a player. It will be interesting to see how United fans take to him if/when he gets minutes. Personally, I love watching him play, but I think he will frustrate fans equally (and some of his own players).
Is that 'has been having' ? Interesting, if true.Anyone knows if we sometimes allow some of our youngsters to train with the first team? Cause our new signing, a 16 year old named Andreas Pereira have been having some training sessions with the first team.
Has been having indeed. I think it was his father who've just recently said that he thinks his son will get a shot with the 1th team within two years, and that he was playing in midfield along Scholes and uptop behind Rooney in training not too long ago. Really a shame that we messed up, which means that he wont be able to play for the club (besides friendlies) until next season. Is that 'has been having' ? Interesting, if true.
There's a lot of buzz about this kid. I'm anxious to see him.
