It wouldn't really have been an issue what so ever had he apologized after the match and explained it from his cultural point of view. But he's just simply not that kind of person. There's literally a list of shitty things he's done on the pitch and with this supposed "defense" of Suarez, headbutting a ref was just added to it.
So the truth is then, that Suarez was actually speaking terms of endearment to Evra. *hits forehead* Well silly us. Of course that's what he'd do in the heat of a disagreement. I feel so ashamed for doubting him.

yeah the argument was shifted slightly to debate whether the word was racist. when really as with the use of the word black in english it isnt. but in context it is. seems to have been forgotten by some that suarez was using the word to insult evra. repeatedly.

Everything was buried when the clubs made their statements, and bringing it up again really won't help matters. Fortunately from Liverpool's point of view I don't think that will be made a huge deal out of it, though it should be.
It says why in the report... continually changing statements from Suarez and Kuyt/Comolli's evidence supporting Evra's version of events rather than Suarez's is a start.

It's as clear as day Suarez had no intention of shaking Evra's hand. If in fact Evra didn't extend his hand out, surely Suarez would have went to great lengths to try and take Evra's hand to show the world he was trying.

It can be seen on this slow mo HD clip that between 0:22 and 0:28 Evra retracting his hand to almost by his side for the Suarez handshake after holding it out for the other players. He only lifted it up after Suarez had passed him.
