Predictor league: first match in 2012-13 RAWK explodes against him.

I'll go league match #8.
I think this season will be one of those where they simply cannot be arsed turning on him. They are done, exhausted - jaded if you will. :p

RAWK Statement on Brendan Rodgers, new Liverpool manager

Brendan Rodgers is the new manager of Liverpool.

We at RAWK have always firmly believed that one of the strengths of being a Liverpool supporter is that we support the manager. We welcome him to our club and sincerely hope he understands the culture and history and requirements of one being manager at Liverpool Football Club, one of the major jobs in the world of football.

There may be some fans on here who did not wish for his appointment, perhaps preferring any number of other candidates. Let us make one thing clear: We support our manager. Full stop. If any of you are unable to do that, you will find yourselves looking for another fansite to post on. Liverpool supporters are meant to do things the right way and make no mistake, we will remove persistent whingers, moaners, nostalgists and petty posters from this site without a second thought.

Welcome Brendan, you've a bloody big pair of boots to fill. Good luck and welcome and all the best from us at RAWK :wave
Fess up
Who read that in one of those tv show style collective voices..

It sounds sad but I'm actually excited to see what's in store for Liverpool next season. If not just for the inevitable RAWK implosion then them coming to terms with themselves.

The liverpudlian faith? Ffs.

Thou shalt covet thy neigbbours giro.
Thou shalt be mawkish and overly sentimental
Thou shalt have a deluded and undeserved superiority complex
Thou shalt live AT LEAST 25 years in the past
Thou shalt refuse all blame for Anything ever.
Thou shalt speak in a hideous accent, imitating dial up modems at all times.
Thou shalt don thy shell suits and curly perms and worship false idols instead of the lord ferguson.
Thou shalt eat meat only on giro days. ( no, greggs sausage rolls dont count la)
Thou shalt never loose sight of next season.
Thou shalt take part in at least one boycott and/or letter writting/email protest every calender year. If you are too inbred and retarded to be able to write, contact a Manchester United supporter and ask for help for they are charitable and quick to help those less fortunate.

Go in peace la.

Felix: "sort of bummed about us replacing king kenny with brendan rodgers, but besides that i'm positive about this, i think it's a risk worth taking. he seems to be a good manager. heard him speak for the first time just now and i like his accent. that said, if we don't bring in van gaal i'll be disappointed."

That's how they judge a manager over there?

Looks better than being a boring Manc bastard.
Better a boring manc bastard than such a gormless tosser who is so unpopular amongst supporters of his own club he spends all of his time on a rival forum, hows the 10 year plan going Pete? Going to win something this year or be a bunch of petulant primadonna bottlejobs again?

Not RAWK but my Liverpool supporting mate has been talking about some whoscored.com stats that've come out. Saying that Suarez has missed 21 'clear-cut' goalscoring opportunities in the league this year and that if he'd not been so unlucky he'd have been top scorer with 32 goals in 31 games.

Obviously he's not taken into account that

a) you can't put missing 2/3s of your 'clear-cut' chances down to luck

and b) if you applied the same logic to Van Persie, Rooney and Aguero they'd be on 57 (), 43 and 40 goals respectively

What sort of self important twats on an internet forum release a 'statement'. Seriously go feck yourselves. The only reason people care is because it is more material for people to laugh at you.

Wouldn't that mean, anyone who has a Rafa moment or the Shankly and paisley moments or the general inspirational-nostalgic (meaning lame) posts that usually crop up, would be kicked out without a second thought?

I would like to see if that is really implemented.

What is with Liverpool and their managers? Why do they feel the need to elevate them to the status of God or a supreme being?

It's so weird. I really don't think it helps their team at all. The constant obsession with history etc.

At the end of the day its just a guy managing a team that plays a game where 22 men kick a ball.
