Yep. Two players, especially two such as those City and Leeds are offering, would, I imagine, cost more in wages than Kagawa. He needs cash, and needs to make sure he keeps 2m+ in the bank by the end of his transfers, or he'll be back in the red in no time.
He could take Dzagoev and Perisic and sell them for £26m to the CPU clubs once their bans run out if he pleases.

But by even selling Kagawa for cash, my wages are not in order. I would have to sell many more players.
Atleast you'd have cash in the bank to cover wages though. 2 players plus a little amount of cash leaves you just as fecked by keeping Kags.

No point of the ecash if it keeps getting less each week, better im in debt then with a good chance at promotion
You have a cushion to sort out the wages though. Loan out the players you dont need, sell Kagawa etc and your wage bill will decrease as you go along. While in debt you dont have the flexibility to sign players as you are in the red. take the cash and start balancing the books by selling others. Iti s a long season you have a decent squad already and it can be trimmed down no problem.

Omar, do you think getting promoted just clears all your debt or something? If you do get promoted while in debt, you'll be fecked as you wont be able to improve your team, and will probably be relegated straight away.

Looking at your squad Omar you've signed no risers. You've signed a few low rated players but they don't look like going up or didn't go up and you sold them for a loss. Signing players for cheap who you can later sell for a profit if they rise up a few in the following update will also help you out financially.

Your squad isn't in that much trouble. What you do need to do is sell Kagawa your biggest cash cow for cash - not players, and try and sort out other areas of your squad and you should be fine.

Yep. All promotion will do is probably increase your stadium capacity and from what Trionz said it won't be by much. You'll earn a bit more cash in Division 1 but if you are in debt then you won't be able to strengthen and by the time you do earn enough cash to possibly go out of the red it'll be too late as you'd be relegated.

I pity the next manager of Blackpool after Omar's inevitable meltdown.

Even if i sell KAgawa, i'll have to sign players, so same thing as exchanging.
Plus even if i balance out the wages, i wont earn enough cash to buy players later. I would have to swap for higher ones, and then again ill be back to square one, in debt.

I've offered BD a very good oppurtunity to buy Kagawa, if he wants him, he can buy him.
Edit - after my negotiations with other managers

Omar, you should post a screenshot of your finance page so we can see what the hell you've done.

This. I've asked you a few times both here and on SM to post your finances page and say how much debt you have Omar and you just ignore it. We're trying to help you out here.

Exchanging Kagawa for players is probably the worst thing you could do right now.

you are aiming too high Omar. You gotta do it in stages. To be fair your squad aint that bad, a few longterm loan deals and that will solve some issues. Sell Kagawa for cash, you will get atleast 15-16mill (if not more) for him. If you are as fecked as you say then I presume you will have around 12mill left say after coming out of debt. Loan 3 palyers to keep you going, sell off or loan out a few of the deadwood you may have, and your books will balance.

You are jumping the gun and wanting everything in the one go.

You need to lose about £140,000 from your weekly wage bill just to break even

If you accept my offer you'll be adding £25,000 a week.

Do it, omar! Think of the promotion!

with the shit capacity you have, you need to have a squad with players max 87-88. you dont make enough at home games to have the likes of Kagawa and co there.

And stay in div2 forever? My chairman wants me to have a chance at promotion. And i did pretty good this year. This being the second season, i believe i can do better and end in the top two, now that i know how things work from the start.

Look at West Brom. nearly won the league and not exactly a top class squad. Work to within your limits.

To be honest, it isnt sustainable omar and you gotta face it. also feck your chairman, you cant get sacked. Even if you did get promoted, you'd still lose money so it is all the same.

You're currently losing over £11m a season. You'll soon be in Division 3 at this rate.

Even if you do try and keep your squad at the same strength it is now that will be very tough with the strength of the teams relegated from Division 1 as well as some of the teams coming up.

But like Mr Anderson said, the squad isn't everything. You CAN challenge without having the best squad in the league, it just depends what tactics you do use. It'll be a bit tougher without your best players but in the long run you'll be better for it. Cut down the average rating of your squad and have a few good loan players brought in and you should be ok.

You're Blackpool, a small club. You don't need to replace him, just make do with your squad. You don't have the financial power to buy everyone you want. You have to do it slowly.

So who all i have to sell? Shinji?WEstermann?GROSSKREUTZ?Granero? Shirkov?

And i just realised shinji is taking the wages of an 89 rated player, and is asking for a raise, which i have not given him.(he's taking 15k less)

He only has 25 players and 5 of them are rated 70. No ones going to want to buy them and even if he can somehow loan them out it won't affect the wage total much.

Pick your starting 11 without your top players in it. See how it looks so you can see where you can cope without a player or if you need cover. Realistically you cant afford to go over an 88 rated player with the little income your club generates.

It's simple really. Cut £140,000 from your current wage bill and you'll be breaking even. Why is that so hard to understand?
he'll be fecked as his squad is small enough, he cant sell them all as the chairman will block it. He is in a right little mess.

Omar, send Banayoun (£30k) and Lovren (£30k) back to their respective teams, sell Kagawa (£30k), Berezutsky (£30k) and Dudka (£25k), and you'll be breaking even with your finances and receive £28m at least in transfer income. You could even keep Kagawa and pay his wages from the income gained selling the other two if you wanted.

Tbf, Kagawa isnt the problem. He's only on the wages of an 89 player, so omar would be better off keeping him and selling someone else.
