Seriously though... what the actual feck was he doing for the goal

Most people would have just shot with the next touch after he flicked it past the keeper...

Was a finish that an Arsenal side of old would have been chuffed with. Try and walk it into the net, then realise you're being a bit of a twat and just score.

It wasn't even like he lost his composure. He calmly and sharply rounded the keeper, then flat out refused to roll the ball one yard into the net until about 7 Braga players had thrown themselves on the ground inside the goal. Then he lost the ball, only for one of the 7 players to pass it to him so he could fluke it in off another players leg.

Annoyed me, the goal would have been brilliant but for him not actually scoring it.

Hernandez is fantastic.

I think with the goal tonight he was waiting for it to set-up perfectly to hit, but never quite got the ball and his feet in the right place.

6 goals, he'll reach 20 this season easily.

Some players just have 'it', whatever it is.

I really could see our front 4 pass 80 goals in all comps, with Hernandez getting at least a solid quarter.

The guy is so good in the 6 yard box that he ends up scoring while lying flat on his ass..
that goal was comedy gold. I was all set to abuse him until i almost burst out laughing..

People mock the prayers chicha does before the game, but somebody is definitely smiling down on the lucky so and so! to be fair I don't expect him to ever score a cleanly connected volley, has more luckily to fall into it and fumble it over the line

For the all the stuff that Hernandez does he somehow needs to work on his control, too often he cant hold the ball for the requisite period and we lose our momentum. But im also of the view that it doesnt matter how they go in as long as we score then im happy.

Don't think that's a fair reflection of his contribution the last month or so. He's been really sharp for the most part and, as has been mentioned, his touch looks vastly improved on last season.

I agree. I have not seen his touch better than it was yesterday. Really had the ballunder control most of the time, which is more than I can say for some of his games yesterday.

Fox in the Box! His all round game has improved so much since he came to us! A sign of him putting in the hard work behind the scenes

Got really lucky to get the goal in the end after messing up the initial shot/touch. Did well to put it away while on his ass though  It's a pity about how it was converted as it would have been a really good goal with the cross and flick by rooney in the lead up

Rooney should've gotten the assist for that flick :P

He's in brilliant form right now and whether he is starting or coming off the bench, he is making a big impact. Scores important goals too.

Should be starting next week, unless he's playing in mexico midweek.

I love him.
