I don´t think he´ll leave and I think Liverpool will push for the title next year. Brendon is doing good and remember Fergie, and his players, almost got us down in 89 and 90. I hate them but sadly I think they will finally put in a good effort this or next season. Hopefully I´m wrong and the feckfaces go from bad to worse

There's quite a few pissed off with Suarez and his rather shaky claim that "nobody" defending him. For feck's sake, he cost Dalglish his reputation and Rodgers has had to defend him more times than any manager should.

They're finally seeing him for the cretin that he is.

He's given another interview a short while ago. In this one he has come out and said he has no other option but to leave Liverpool under the circumstances.

Suarez Interview 30/05/2013

"It is clear I must leave. There is no reason for me to stay, especially under such conditions."

RAWK will explode...
Under what conditions exactly? This insufferable cnut never fails to piss me off. Should we all feel sorry for the racist, diving, biting twat? How dare the media not turn a blind eye?

I blame Brendan Rogers for giving him this ridiculous 'hounding out' excuse in the presser he did after the biting incident.

Ill say good riddance. He's a great footballer but that isn't all you get with him. He comes with a ridiculous amount of excess baggage and I don't see any of the best clubs tolerating it.

From reading a bit of that thread it seems like not many of them are buying his ''media are out to get me" excuse.

Bit odd, all this. He goes from saying it would be hard to turn down an offer from Real to stating explicitly that he need to be off - only to emphasize there's no deal with Real. If this is some tactic on his part (or his agent's part) I fail to see what it is. Sounds more like sheer whining if you ask me.

If Real don't want him - where will he go? PSG?

Liverpool will have to sell Suarez for a fee of over £43 million* if they are to make a profit on the deals that brought Suarez and Carroll to Anfield (assuming that Carroll goes for the £15 million fee that's being reported). Anything at or under this £43 million will see them break even or even lose money on the combined £58 million which they forked out in January 2011 for the pair.

Brilliant.

* He's not worth more than £40 million, especially if Falcao went for "only" £45 million last week.

The Uruguayan said: "It's a good moment for a change of environment because of all I've been through in England."

He added: "I do not know when I'm going and I do not know if I'm staying."

"But the treatment I received from the rest of England in recent weeks has been tough.

"It (Liverpool) is a spectacular club, but they are aware of the way that the press treats me."

He said: "It is normal that it is impossible to say no to big teams for which one always dreams. Yet I have nothing, I have not spoken with Real Madrid nor with Liverpool.

"My agent has not told me anything either and that leaves me alone, but they (the media) are speculating.

"Every time you do something it becomes big. I just said I'm very happy at Liverpool and I'll be forever grateful to this great city and this club made me grow so much, where I still have a contract."
Ahh, Marca already covered it.

In a way Liverpool have only themselves to blame if Suarez is telling the truth about the treatment from the English media being the sole reason why he wants to leave.

I don't want to use the V word, but every time Suarez has done something cnutish, Liverpool were quick to go on the attack and tried to make the issue out as if it were an agenda against Suarez or the club itself. It's no wonder he doesn't learn from his mistakes and think the media is on a witchunt for him because the club have unintentionally condoned his behaviour.

Football, bloody hell.
What I'm finding ironic is that the more quotes we here from Suarez about his unfair treatment the more it makes it seem like he and Liverpool were made for eachother.

He doesn't explicitly state he's leaving but I'm pretty sure that's the message he's looking to convey. Hope it's quick and not a drawn out, summer-long affair.

Yeah yeah alls well and good but.....

.....has anyone thought this could all be a ploy by liverpool. Tease Madrid for a few weeks/months, let him get caught on photos in madrid and meeting with their players and board members. Put across the thought of going there a little too much it looks certain. Momentum will gather. It will look like hes heading for the exit at Liverpool where he suddenly turns everything on its head declaring his love for Liverpool and that hes staying. Signs a new 4 year contract and gets, be it through a bit of media hype, the backing of the Liverpool fans!

Their belief and hope will be high by all of their fans.

Add this to the number of signings Rodgers will have made somewhat under the radar during the shitstorm of Suarez. Teams beginning to consider the fact Liverpool will be without their biggest threat and relax a little. Fergies retirement....

Red Yankee is human scum.
Still giving excuses. Pathetic.

Wonder why any reputable club will want him as part of their squad. His on field behavior is despicable and he doesn't repent any of his behavior.

Because plenty of clubs don't care about that stuff if he scores goals and wins them games.

Even by Suarez's standards his excuses are pathetic. Why cant he just admit he wants to play in the CL and for a bigger team.

Suarez has learnt nothing from the punishments given by the FA, and all his apologies are worthless.
This, 100%. This simply highlights that all his apologies for the numerous idiotic things he has done have all been purely to appease his employers and keep the club from being dragged further through the mud.

He hasn't meant a word of it if he truly believes that he is being hounded out of England by the media. I would say, if anything, the media have let his numerous indiscretions pass relatively quickly.

I can't wait for the first time he fecks up in the Madrid kit and costs them points. Marca will have a field day.

ah right, pure class eh?
I think he probably meant that Liverpool fans are gullible and will swallow any old bullshit they're peddled by a hero. I don't agree, personally, and think fans of all clubs are guilty of taking the love some players profess for their club too seriously.

The RAWK-ite element of your fanbase make you look worse in this instance, with their homo-erotic poetry and fan fiction, but I know a few Liverpool fans of the belief that Suarez is a shite who they'd be glad to see go, and who don't buy his apologies, excuses and the claim that he's being forced out.

Well, that's what they say NOW at least, now that it looks like he's keen to feck off :smirk:

Is it coincidence that Suarez wants out after Liverpool sign two black players in as many transfer windows?
