We haven't been clincal despite creating chances and Chelsea have been the complete opposite.

It is fecking depressing to watch us right now, even when we play well we have feck all to show for it.
HAVE we created any chances...really? Where we can say that someone should have scored? Welbeck was off balance with his shot, but otherwise...?

And Moyes fecks up yet again by playing Ashley Young.

I dread to think where we would be in the table without Januzaj - it is embarrassing how much we have depended on him this season.

What the feck is Evans doing for the first? Turning his back on it while Carrick throws himself at it. Centre half, feck me.

Everyone seems to think we're playing really well, which in a certain way we are, but consistent attacking down the flanks relying on whacking balls into the box for Januzaj and Welbeck to compete with Terry, Cahill, Ivanovic etc isn't actually good, it's fecking barmy. We've actually only created two chances, one from a defensive mistake (Welbeck) and one from playing one two football through the middle (Young)

Relying on an 18 year old who was unheard of 6 months ago to provide all our spark isn't actually a good thing.

As things stand, we're six points off 4th place with a lot of points left to play for. The Scousers face off next weekend and we have still to play both another time as well.

For people to say a loss here will kill our hopes of Champions League football next year is downright bizarre.

We've created feck all.
Ha ha, the worst poster on the forum appears, telling lies again, just preparing his "Kagawa would have won it for us" rant. At least the fanboys will be clearing off soon enough...

We've done okay but for me the game has been lost on the choice of Young ahead of Fletcher, all Januzaj's good work has been down the left, where Young is supposed to be, so what the feck is the point of him?.
Both Chelsea's goals were scored coming from the right with Young ball watching, apparently he's there to assist Evra defensively, well good fecking work. You don't catch Fletcher ball watching much.

So my opinion isn't as valid because I don't post everyday? Is that how it works now?

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, regardless of how regular they post, how many games they've watched in their lifetime or even how many hairs they have on their head. I'd ask you to respect my opinion and not be so much of a internet warrior because someone expressed an opinion different to your own.
Your opinion is valid, the problem is the time you have decided to bring it to the fore is the moment when United aren't doing as well, after previously not being interested in telling anyone online your opinion. Why don't you keep it to the pubs, mate?

Chicha on at half-time(although I don't know who should come out) and we'll have a chance to get back.. The 1st goal is 1/1 000 000 chance to go in and it's really unbelievable to see that fly past De Gea.

Welbeck's positioning from corners is interesting. He seems to have the same mindset as I did when it came to fielding when playing cricket during PE. "Where is the ball not likely to go? I'll stand there."

Baffled as to why Fletcher and Kagawa aren't on the pitch. Do you really think Ashley Young has made any difference to our "defending" on the left flank?
I made this point pre-game people didn't wanna know.

Defensive wingers won't compensate for our defensive disorganisation.

Not really, most of our attacks have been very well constructed and we have attacked with pace. The only thing that has been lacking is that killer touch, or presence in the 18yd box to get on the end of something. I don't think we should be two-nil down, far from it. Chelsea by hook or by crook have put the ball in the back of the net though.
By having effective players in the final third. Unlike us.

Evans back in our defence and we look shaky again. Young has done nothing. Jones has been anonymous at times. Badically all three players he brought in haven't been good enough. Should have stayed with thevteam that beat swansea. fecking idiot.

Doesn't matter what team he picks, he will always get criticised no matter what he does.
We haven't been bad at all, but haven't put away the chances when they have arrived, having 2 of the best forwards in the world out will do that to you.

Rafael. fecking hell what is he doing for the second, back to the play running back to his position while the ball is in the box. That's the worst thing I've ever seen.

Yeah, Liverpool dropping points at least gave us a bit of "leeway" and we knew there was every chance we'd lose today. Hopefully West Brom will also get something from Everton tomorrow night. There's a long way to go yet and we still have our two World Class strikers to come back.

Yea it's their only striker and both Vidić and Evans feck it up. Evans on a trip to 16th yard and Vidić inbetween him and Hazard. Just fecking eugh. Many things I've expected to fail today but not our defence especially that we've got no real injury crisis there.

It's just a fecking bad luck, no disrespect to Danny because he's done well when both Rooney and RVP were out, but if we had one of the latter today on the pitch we would've scored those chances created by Januzaj. Chelsea had hardly anything from the game today.
Rooney and RvP do miss chances sometimes. You can't take it for granted that they would have scored, we haven't created as much as it to be beyond any doubt. We should have scored at least once but we could be in this position with RvP and Rooney as well. Though I believe we would have created more with them on the pitch.

Some of the comments are people watching a different game. We've done relatively well given our situation. Had we somehow fluked a first goal (like they did) it'd be a different story. Excellent start to the match but we've faded. Only natural that a team that's in confidence crisis drops a little after conceding against the run of play against a top side.

Jones looks unready but what was Moyes supposed to do - I've got to say even then he's a better option than Cleverley. At most I can see him sub off Young for Kagawa...

We never defend well when Evans plays. He's all over the show. If Smalling had played today we wouldn't be loosing.

Very harsh Scoreline but Why the feck are we playing our main creative outlet as The striker and our actual striker as an attacking mid? Makes no sense at all.

Our defending has been very poor. They look like scoring whenever they counter. We've had chances but you gotta take them in a match like this.

Cant see us coming back but lets have a go atleast. The left side is porous as feck anyways, putting januzaj out There wont make it any worse.

Where's the guarantee that when other 4th place contenders mess up, that we will take advantage? Especially with a manager that seems incapable of selecting the most suitable team.

Yea, that's another thing. Rafael's getting outplayed like a kid today. Valencia is useless in helping him out too.

Oh shut the feck up Hoddle. It's a penalty and it'd of been a penalty 60 years ago too. No contact sport? So players can just start smashing others from behind?

We've had our moments in the game, but nothing that indicates we deserve to be leading. Our attack apart from Januzaj has been diabolical. No one is making runs, no one is present in the box. Cross after cross, hoof after hoof.

Chelsea haven't been excellent either, but they are playing conservatively. Ivanovic and Cesar are staying back to assist with our wing play, and their strategy is to punish our mistakes, which they have done ruthlessly. They don't need to be excellent to defeat us.

Dowd is an idiot.

:houllier: It's the near post position that RVP normally takes, he made a clearance from a corner in this very match there

Chelsea have been lucky but they have been good on the break. The game has gone how they would have wanted it to.
They've done exactly what we used to do against Arsenal under Fergie. Let us have the ball in midfield and hit us on the counter.

It helps that Oscar has contributed more to a united attack than Ashley Young has right enough. Adnan has pretty much been our only attacking threat.

I think the thing this really highlights is how we need to change, we're playing the ball well and intensity is there but Young/Valencia against good European teams simply won't work. They may produce on occassion but more often than not we'll see posession and endeavour with no end product. I really want to see Moyes start to change this... we either need to play Kagawa into form in the right position (Januzaj coming from the left) or buy that player that will take us from midfield to the final third and create chances.

Hope Europe isn't watching because this is the blueprint for beating us reasonably comfortably. Which is a shame because there's a lot of young players playing really well there.

Edit: Move Jones to CB and play him when he's fit. Darren Flectcher please!

We keep dropping points whereas the teams above us keep winning, and our record against teams above and around us is shocking. How can you honestly think CL football looks like a possibility with the way things are going? We'll be lucky to get Europa at this rate.
