YESHHHHH, We'll GOOO for it.
1. No she doesn't.If anything, Stannis does, only thing is no one likes his character. The Targareans were rightly removed from the throne. Dani had never been in westeros, and has some delusion about her worth to the normal person. Does she really think people will welcome her with open arms? As seen already, the north doesn't give a shit about the throne.

2. She hasn't had hardships to suffer since season 1.

3. Yeah, but Bran isn't branded around like Dani is. Dani is Bran's tier yet she's billed highest on the show behind dinklage and advertised the most.
Stannis has the right to the crown because he's a brother of Robert. Dani is the true descendant of Prince Aegon.

King Mannequin has the right to throne because either he or Irish Ron Swanson mentions it in every episode they're in, them just standing around and pacing during the scene with Sherlock's brother summed up this season so far for me, another drab dialogue we've heard before.

Aegon won the crown by force. The Mad King was overthrown by force. Targaryens don't have the "right" anymore.

It's not like Dany would ask them to allow her to take over because she thinks she is rightful to the throne, she will also have to overthrow them by force, which is what she is preparing for right now. Technically your right to the throne lasts as long as you win your wars, simple as.

Yeah but she's in for a shock. She's been told non stop that the people will rally to her side. The hard truth is most outside Kings Landing don't give a shit about who rules. The North is unstable and could rebel again.

People will rally for whoever has the power, they have no other choice.

The Theon story arc became one of the most interesting for me yesterday. Thought it was great. It all happened pretty fast though. I imagine they shoehorned quite a bit into those short couple of scenes.

Why Asha? I thought her name is Yara? Pretty sure, she said 'It's me, Yara' when she opened Theon's cage.
Asha is her name in the..literature. Think I heard the show changed it because "Osha" (wildling woman) and "Asha" were too similar and would be confusing.

Jaime Lannister sells the whole trial perfectly. His facial expressions tell a story of their own.

Watching Tywin's face as he reacted to Tyrion's demand for a trial by combat was priceless. He had expected Jamie to make the deal to rule Casterley Rock (and continue the Lannister bloodline) in return for sparing Tyrion's life. Tyrion has ruined that plan, and the Lannisters' future is not as certain as Tywin thought it was when Jamie left Tywin's room just a few minutes ago.
I didnt really see this the way you guys seem to have. To me Tywin looked cold and uncaring (as he usually does) to Tyrion.

If anything, I would have loved to see a bit more emotion come out of the guy as a reaction to Tyrions speech - that would have been the icing on the cake for me

That makes no difference. Has it been in an episode? No.
People have discussed the specifics of a trailer in the past plenty of times. Quoting the trailer and pointing out interesting scenes, lines etc. the thread rules need to be applied consistently. If a trailer is considered spoilers, then they should not be posted or discussed in the thread. That rule shouldn't change because something of relevance was pointed out.

It's not as if he pointed out something from a "next time on..." Clip at the end of the show, which I think is not allowed as per the spoiler policy (I know it's not allowed in the Walking Dead thread).

Those fussy about spoilers should just avoid this thread all together like I used to earlier. It only takes one idiot to ruin everything. No amount of ban talk or policing can stop that. Is discussing the show really worth things getting spoiled?

Seriously though as soon as this series ends, I'm reading all the books, I can't be doing with people whining about spoilers.

Rules should probably be put in place about trailers or something and whether people talking about them is considered a spoiler or whatever. Maybe put it in a spoiler and tag it "trailer talk" or something along those lines.

It's a religious thing. From the GoT wiki:

A trial by combat is a means by which a party can prove their innocence when accused of a crime in the Seven Kingdoms. In lieu of a standard trial where a lord hears testimony from the involved parties and makes a ruling, one or all parties may choose the option of a trial by combat.

In a trial by combat the accused may represent themselves in combat or, if unable (such as if they are female, injured, crippled, a dwarf, or otherwise incapacitated), may ask for a champion to represent them. The victorious party is held to have had his or her case judged fairly by the Seven (or other faiths such as the Old Gods or the Lord of Light) and has proven their innocence in the eyes of the gods. Hence, they are cleared of all charges.
Can we be very careful posting things like this please? This just provides information about the TV series and isn't a spoiler but I tend to think that anything that isn't apparent from watching the show alone should either not be quoted or quoted in spoiler tags at the very least.

Are you lot really getting upset with him talking about the contents of a trailer that was released by HBO on 12 Jan 2014?
Yes. It is against the spoiler policy. Trailers, next week on GOT, intervoews etc etc are all prohibited or at the very least should be in spoiler tags with a description.

No they shouldn't. People breaking the spoiler rules should avoid breaking the rules. I've now started handing warning points and thread bans out.

There is. Labelled spoiler tags as a minimum.

I might update to specifically prohibit them since people are being such feckwits.

I don't know how anyone can take a warning from cina seriously after this.
I know you are joking (I think) but I was posting for everyone elses benefit. Cina didn't post anything that spolied anything but other may not be so good at using such material. That was my point.

Although I might thread ban Cina for a laugh ;)

So I have thread banned 2 or 3 people and given 0 and 2 point warnings to a number of people. 1 of these now has 2 days out as they have accumulated 5 points.

Spoiler policy has been updated.
