 I can't, I've got too many games to play already. That's how it's supposed to be though, right? Getting games and then not playing them for bloody ages.

Who knows though, maybe as soon as I open it I wont be able to resist sticking it right in! Er... the game, that is.

Looking at my current shelf, I have about 30 360/Ps3 games unopened and about 200 Steam games unplayed.

We are fecking nuts.

I saw that Lance.

I haven't got any unopened games (:(), but I was adding my games to a collection site the other day to keep track of ones I need to play, and across all systems I have about 40 games that I haven't played at all, and about another 30-40 that I've only played a couple of minutes of.

I don't know when I'm going to play them, so I'd hate to think of having 200 Steam games to get through

EDIT: No wait, I do have one unopened game! A cheap bike racing PS1 game, I'm on Lamb's level now!

Never played an Assassin's Creed game so got the second from Amazon this morning for £2. From looking around that seems to be regarded by most as the best one.

It is the pick of the bunch. Great game. Screen tearing pissed me off a little, though.

I am in the mood to buy a game right now. I have been looking at Injustice: Gods Among Us for PS4 and The Wonderful 101 on WiiU.

I hear conflicting reports about it. Some claim it's one of the best games ever, whereas others say it's confusing and deliberately obtuse.

It's only £19.99 though...

Yeah it seems to be one of those games with opinions that are extreme at either end, nothing in the middle. All I know is that the demo is apparently bad and the full game shouldn't be judged off that.

I guess there's the chance that in a few years it might be one of those hard to find and expensive games since it didn't sell well. So it could be nice to have for that reason.

I probably won't get playing it until 2017 so I wouldn't worry.

Did you get BG&E Olly?

I couldn't get into W101, the control scheme was proper weird and I had so many games at the time I was being pretty impatient with my games.

It arrived yesterday but for some reason they bloody sent it by recorded delivery and I missed the postie. So I'll have to go and pick it up tomorrow.

What's with the controls?

According to the sages at GAF, it is best to attempt the W101 on easy mode to start with.

I dunno you have to draw weapons and stuff using the stick/touchscreen and they don't explain it particular well. From what I've read it's something that's difficult at first and clunky but feels more intuitive the more you play and becomes far less of a problem later, even a good differentiating feature.

Honestly, I think it might be a little too niche/hardcore for me. I got that and Pikmin for about £17 from the eshop website one day. Was worth it just for Pikmin I've put so many hours into that game.

Thanks for the reply.

Are they similar to the Total War games? Are they as good?
I'd say miles better! CK2 focus on dynasties and characters more than nations. Sort of like a grand strategy RPG. Relations with foreign rulers, courtiers etc.

EU will emphasise heavily on nation building, so to say. You won't get much of a personal relationship with your ruler, but I'd say that trade is very important together with the possibilities of exploration and expansion into the new world and the east. The enlightenment and tech. advances is also important.

When we talk about controlling the units you sort of control them Total war style, on a massive map, but there is no option to play the battles. You just have to fortify, pick a good terrain and/or have a great general. No micro, only macro.

I'm still trying to finish Shadow of the Colossus before I move the PS3 to make room so I can play The Last of Us for the first time....

I dunno, don't really feel like it I guess. I don't want to play a new game when I'm not in the mood for it otherwise it'll stifle my possible enjoyment of it :)

I played the demo. I had no idea what was going on so I deleted it.
