Last 15-20 minutes of many games this season, besides QPR, have been extremely nerve wracking to watch. Good win.

Our midfield wasn't shit. Fellaini coming on completely ruined our shape.
It was adequate until the last 15 min. Then Everton upped the tempo and Blind couldn't cope. He's a very tidy player, good passing, good understanding of the game. But he's slow and that's a major weakness which will be exploited by any good team.

Dear me these last 10 minutes of games are making me a nervous wreck.De Gea was fantastic 10 out of 10 performance, sloppy in possession towards the end but another 3 points.

I thought the Fellaini sub was ridiculous. As soon as he came on we turned to absolute shit. At least Valencia has pace and he was a help for Rafael. Fellaini actually did nothing.
It really is bad for Fellaini when a right winger goes off for him and we lose control of the midfield. At least Valencia made himself available on the ball and allowed us to keep the ball in midfield. With him out, we lost all control, and his defensive performance also made it easier for Everton to get through our midfield.

He's shown to me that he can't make it here with this cameo. We lost control of the midfield when Valencia went off for Fellaini...Valencia, a right winger, for Fellaini, a central midfielder...

I hope we never see Fellaini play for UTD again, abysmal, sluggish, can't tackle, can't head, can't do F-all. We just turned to shite when he came on, our midfield went missing. He is not a CM, from now I hope Pereira gets his chance and it should be ahead of him.

DDG, Di Maria, Blind and Rafael were WC.
Rojo, Falcao, Shaw, McNair were solid
Mata, RVP a little of the pace
Valencia was too slow on the ball and to get forward.
    Blackett and Wilson were good.
Fellaini worst player on the pitch.
How can you say that Falcao was better than Mata?

Di Maria is still giving the ball away too easily too often.
If you always play safe, you have a cleverley with dribbling skills. I'd rather have what Di Maria brings. Although I will give you this: he sometimes plays to difficult on our half, that we could do without :)

    True.

You hate to see three points saved by epic goalkeeping, but you take the wins as you get them. One day it's De Gea who saves us, another day it might be Rooney with a hat trick. Whatever it takes to get the win, within the confines of fair play, is what will do.
Indeed lad, I'll take a win any which way we can, but it's not nice on the nerves! I'm still shaking after that last 10 mins!

Thats Rubbish these were square passes going astray when they shouldnt stop making excuses! He must stop that end of as LVG keeps eluding to.

That something strange about how we taper off toward the end of games, with the decline often starting from the second half. Not quite sure what is it due to, energy levels perhaps, a fall in di Maria's influence? Hopefully LVG gets that sorted out or we will just be in for a nerve-wracking time.
Or substitutions which LVG believes shouldnt alter our shape but clearly do as these players are struggling to understand what the feck he is on about in that regards it appears.

Its all about the points until we can play carrick and Herrera together in midfield and can take the pick of our CBs to form a partnership until the Jan window.

I hate to flog a dead horse, but the introduction of Fellaini was a mistake which almost cost us the match. But I can't say I blame Louis for giving Fellaini one more match to prove what a useless tool he really is.

Off to Galatasary for 2.5m in January!

Great performance from the team all in all. Thought we were in control for most part up to 75mins then it was a little nerve-y.
Thought it was a master stroke to play Valencia in the middle instead of Fletcher who has been pretty awful since the pre-season tour. It allows him and Di-Maria in turn to break at pace with the ball. Saying that Blind is still a lonely figure in midfield sometimes but we had enough today. Thought we lost the control when Fellaini came on though? Trying to see the game out I get that but why take off (I think it was) Valencia? Should have been Mata or RVP.

Little bit disappointed with Mata as I want him to do more than that.

Falcao was again fantastic. It's not only a good game if he scores you know. His hold-up play, strength, link-up is fantastic. His fitness is improving all the time and it's only a matter of time before he's consistently playing 90mins and scoring goals!

McNair & Rojo done well again! Lukaku didn't bully them as pundits thought.

Rafael is quality. How we have missed him what a little player he is.

Di Maria is well, Di Maria! Brilliant.

And big shout to my man of the match De Gea! Well played son!!!

Is there another striker who offers more outside the box than Welbeck? I was just thinking RVP and Falcao to me just won't be as good as Falcao and a player who is willing to come out and do far more for the team....the only one I can think of...is welbz....

    de gea immense.

mata didn't took his chance. a poor performance.

    weird subs from LVG.

    glad for falcao.

fellaini?? valencia was poor but fellaini coming on today is equivalent to us playing with 10 men.

Another win. All they can do is keep totting-up the points and a find a rhythm until we get players back.

Another very good first half performance where we created lots of chances followed by a flat second half performance (LvG referred to it himself) that allowed them to come back at us.

Hopefully now the goals start coming for Falcao as his general game (especially holding up the ball) has been very good. RvP was poor again, his touch has disappeared and he is taking too many touches on the ball.

Another angle on that David de Gea save:

He was on the deck when the ball came to Oviedo and the shot flew through a ruck of players so he would have seen it very late. Stunning!

I thought mata was decent. Got an assist and had a lot of very nice touches. Was a bit anonymous in the second half, but then so was everyone else.

 Holy sh*t we're in the top 4 again! Come on Chelsea. Get the win so we stay there!
:nono:. A draw is what we want... I know its difficult for us to win the title but I'm not losing hope yet. We're 3 points behind number 2 and if chelsea draw and we are able to beat them, you never know.
