Ok I have to go in a while and it looks like Stobzilla isn't coming anytime soon. Anyone willing to take The Stain's picks?
Doesn't meet the nationality requirements, but still...Without considering the picks, Sammer and Desailly have to be swapped around. Sammer had one of the iconic Euro tournaments marauding up to centre forward from his sweeper position. Why maroon him as an orthodox centre half?
I will be hereAnyone here for some time? Need to leave The Stain's pick with someone.
PM incoming. Thank you.I will be here

I have a hard time posting write-ups as my picks go, because of all "not naming" thing, so I will try and post them after the drafting ends. A tragic story with this one
I do believe Bergomi only played rb at the euros
I don't think Bergomi as a right centerback in a back three goes against the spirit of the draft. It's more or less what he played, a defensive fullback, who tucked in all the time. However, Bergomi as a centerback in a back four with a rightback next to him would be a different story.Unless Balu says otherwise of course.
I thought about picking him in the World Cup draft for days, but didn't in the end. Excellent choice.Ján Popluhár (born August 12, 1935 in Bernolákovo) was a former Slovak football player.
Thanks. Really glad he lasted. Bit surprised he did...but I think he may be fairly underrated slightly after reading some if the comments on him in some of tne other draft games.I thought about picking him in the World Cup draft for days, but didn't in the end. Excellent choice.
Agreed, good call. It would be nearly impossible to distinguish the individual roles between those two and the result would be that every player would have to replicate the exact role they played. I.e "he's not a winger in a 4-3-3 he was a winger in a 2-3-5" bla bla.I don't think Bergomi as a right centerback in a back three goes against the spirit of the draft. Good pick. Been waiting for him to go for quite a while now. @Aldo with Lahm who is irreplaceable at this stage is a fantastic pick too.
Eugh. My stomach still wrenches every time I think of the 60-second period during which Gary McTokenJock missed his penalty - that would have likely sent Scotland through to a quarter-final date with an underwhelming France - and which culminated with the dyed-blond-haired twat scoring that goal.
Paul Gascoigne.
You love him really.Eugh. How are people checking if a player played in he Central European International Cup? Their doesn't seem to be any info on the matches anywhere.
Here are all the matches:

Just replace the ID tag with IC-1 through IC-6 for the different tournaments.
If you're just looking for goalscorers, this site is pretty handy too:

Based on EURO performances he should have been picked earlier. Right up there with the best in this draft. Hopefully i can do him justice.Förster was a fantastic pick, he was brilliant in the Euro final in 1980.
God yeahYou love him really.
