Also had Jonny Evans playing with Vidic for long patches when Vidic was the best defender in the world. Lot of good that did
And when Vidic got that bad injury from the Champions League game, Evans stepped up, played virtually every game and was solid. Unfortunately he's forgotten how to football since then but there was a period of around 6-9 months where Evans was playing fantastic.

He needs to stick to one agenda, one day it's worrying that United have holes despite spending big, the next day United are trailing behind in term of spending.

Obligatory Moyes speaking Spanish video:

McManaman's sounds quite good. Always reminds me of Harry Enfield's Italian footballer sketch though where he accentuates all the English words and they really stand out

Illara would be a good signing for them. Wasn't a great move for him to go to RM in the first place though IMO.

This guy walks around like he is some superstar.
Last year's stats:
In 16 league games he scored 1 goal.
Compare this with Kane: 34 league games, 21 goals.

A chocolate teapot is useless for holding tea.
Balotelli is useless at scoring goals.

Why would any club want Balotelli in their team? Can someone educate me here, because this defies logic.

What makes it worse is that Milan seemingly couldn't wait to get rid of him last summer and now they're bringing him back in on loan

My guess is that he may sell a shirt or two and even though his all around play is horseshit, there is the minute possibility he may do something cool once in a while.

Its pretty crazy when you think well over half of that spending by us was in the last couple of years.
And yet some people still think we didn't underspend in Fergies last few years.

No mention of Pereira?
I wouldn't read much into it, he's talking off the cuff and names 5 players. He's not going to pause and make sure he doesn't miss anyone, he's talking in fairly general terms about the youth policy rather than individual players and have a few examples.

Fair point, it's a shame he hasn't made a match day squad since opening day.

It's actually around 35% which isn't crazy at all when you think that we have released or got a small fee for 9 first team players during that time and another 10 or so squad players.

If you spread that fee out over the first team squad it works out at just over £11m per player. Hardly shocking in this day and age.

Didnt mourinho say last year that he didn't buy Luke Shaw because if you buy a young player for a higher price and at a higher salary then it will disrupt the dressing room? He has taken his hypocrisy to the next level surely.

He absolutely did, yes.
