Apparently NFL players can't endorse alcohol products but Payton Manning owns a few Budweiser distributions so he's advertising for himself.
That's an utterly stupid statement. There are things called the Barclays premier league and the Emirates FA cup. There's nothing like the Budweiser National Football League or the JP Morgan Chase National Basketball Association. Top sport in every country thrives on sponsors, its no different in England as it is in America.

Actually, I am surprised that team jerseys in the NFL and NBA, for example, are free of sponsors - aside from the manufacturer. Would have expected that trend to have been jumped upon.
