If gently slapping someone in the face, or the "headbutts" that we see, are a red card then this must be too?
I do agree that our players should have grown a pair and done something about it
And get themselves sent off?

This is why the refs need to deal with this sort of shit correctly, so the players don't have to take it into their own hands to sort things out. It's the refs job to punish Noble for being a dick, not our players.

Obviously not every time but it's clear that the people in charge have no intentions of dealing with the ridicolous amounts of simulation, time wasting, diving and exaggerated injuries so I don't blame a player getting fed up with it and doing what Noble did. I actually remember hearing a story of two Busby Babes doing it against Real Madrid and I thought it was hilarious then (i.e. when I heard the documentary, not when I saw that game live :p).
So it's fine to do it once a game? Once a season? What a bizarre stance. It's alright to just start grabbing and ragdolling opposition players when they're injured but as long as it's only every once in a while, every time would be way out of line.

Disappointed with Herrera, he looked like a little bitch just taking that, I mean c'mon if that isn't a challenge to your manliness, then I don't know what is, he could have at least, "accidentally" flipped his head back on to nobles massive Hooter!!! Jesus wept, how could you take that, and I think the way no United player went to have it out with NOBle tells you something about our teams lack of leaders, imagine Keane seeing one of his team mates subjected to that ?.

Heh, neither Keane or the oppo who done it would have finished the 90 minutes.

Noble was a shithead for pulling a stunt like that and he should have been booked.

I laughed. Herrera obviously wasn't hurt - but I agree with others that Noble should have been booked for it to avoid this happening again in the future. Our players also should have had a word with Noble, but did nothing.

That said, it was funny - imagine if Herrera did it to Suarez, we'd all be laughing

Before all that, think Ander was holding his back heel,so mine only issue would be in case that he had injury of back heel, lifting up wouldnt making things worse but he did drop him,so he would need to land.

Most annoying part was that Noble was dropping like a sack of shit with any contact made that night, that carrying thing was poor from him as well, I wouldn't mind if Herrera decked him to be fair.

Not that I'm angry about it or something, no, but I didn't really find it funny. Waiting for somebody to drag one's leg with torn ACL just to hurry shit up.

Could have done more damage to Herrera who was genuinely injured

Should have been a yellow

I think the only reason Herrera didn't react was because he was on a yellow. Otherwise, he would have reacted and the ref would have carded both him and Noble.

Some of you lot are precious. Guarantee you'd be calling one of our players doing the same a legend.

Should have probably been booked but then so should Herrera moments before really which would hsve left us down to ten so we can't moan too much.

Shaken, and very stirred......
wish there was more humour in football like this. They are just football players for goodness sake, had the crowd laughing and puts things into perspective a bit.....

I don't think anybody is offended by it. Just that such action should be punished, or it sets a dangerous precedent of genuinely injured players being wrestled off the pitch. Opposing players shouldn't be allowed to touch injured players. The fact that the referee just allowed it is a little bizarre.

To be fair, I'd have laughed if it was one of our players doing it.
Nah...well, maybe if we were playing ok and the player who did it was having a good game.

If one of our players put in the performance Noble did last night and then decided to act a prat I'd be fuming.

The commentary summed it up for me "It's like having one of the fans on the pitch"....Yeah it was, but why on earth would you want one of your players behaving like one of the lads who'd had a few to many pints before heading to the ground? It wasn't at a time of the game where West Ham were desperate to get the ball back in play. He didn't do it to try and win the game, he did it to play up to the fans, because basically he must be a bit thick. Gerrard without any of the ability

His performance all night was kind of like having a drunk wanabe hard man West Ham fan in the team.

It's funny in hindsight, but I'd probably be fuming if we went onto lose that match.

No big deal really but a bit sad to see that we don't have any players in the team that wouldn't stand for that sort of thing any more.

Can you imagine someone getting away with that if Keane was on the pitch or even someone like Rio.
