How nailed on was the rumour that Rio was leaking the line-up during Moyes tenure?
i don't think the general public/journalists are overjoyed about him playing midfield at the World Cup in 2 years time. His support is surely dwindling across the boardUnfortunately for us, the current Mourinho doesn't have the media in his pocket. Far from it in fact. A battle in the media won't end well for him, and consequently for us.
Knowing Rooney's luck, he'll probably bag a new contract £500k to 2025.
Amateurs, they dropped the ball and lost my support by not calling it #WRexit.
Yeah he wrexit all right.Amateurs, they dropped the ball and lost my support by not calling it #WRexit.
That drive, that passion and that insatiable will to win that Wayne Rooney once posessed in abundance has long since deserted him, around about the time that he won the lottery with that outrageous contract David Moyes deemed fit to gift him. It's no coincidence that since he recieved that contract his form has been nothing short of abysmal. He is playing as though he couldn't give a shit. He has won everything there is to win at the club already, and coupled with that fact that he pockets £300k on a weekly basis regardless of his on-pitch performance, why should he give a shit?Yes, he really does. Say what you want about the guy but he's a winner and he wants to win. You saw the drive in the cup final when we were losing and he's always had it. He's a serial winner and he even questioned our ambition at a time we used to challenge for the league. Sure he makes shit loads of money but there is no way he would rather sit on his huge paycheck than win stuff at this club.
I think it matters to Rooney that he gets paid. Even if Moyes and LVG's tenure wasn't a success or the England team's exploits weren't great, so what? It didn't seem to harm Rooney. Wasn't it also mentioned somewhere in this thread that he gets bonuses for appearances?Come on. That's really not plausible. Van Gaal stunk the place out for two years. There's no flipping way Rooney is already playing a long game based on his career after Mourinho gets the sack. Considering his age, it matters to him (and Carrick) most of all that Mourinho's tenure is a success.
Rooney needs to die.
My work is not shown to the public nor are there thousands of fans. You just can't compare thatHave you ever worked for a living? Has your manager gone and criticized your work to your colleagues or in public? If they have, would you still try and do your best for that manager?
Not acceptable.Rooney needs to die.
fixedRooney needs to diet.
feck sakeRooney needs to die.
Well, Rooney is no longer quick enough to get many goals - even I can see that.Mourinho interview on sky
Rooney playing up front we haven't seen much of that, what do u want from him
Mou - goals
Are you hoping Rooney can play himself back into form?
Mou - goals
Another question I can't remember
Mou - goals
He didn't seem to want to talk about Rooney at all. Seemed very tense by his tone
Anyone got a link to his interview when questioned on Rooney?

That's ban worthy.Rooney needs to die.
Think it was pretty well known. How nailed on was the rumour that Rio was leaking the line-up during Moyes tenure?
It was Lingard all the way, or ValenciaSo him staying on the pitch after Rash and Zlatan came on. How does that with this story?
Referring to yourself in the third person is only acceptable for Zlatan. That's ban worthy.
Jose I hope is like boss's undercover, if he does not see goals and performances, you aint playing, and hopefully this is the begining of the end of Wayne Rooney.Hehe, I enjoyed that.
Only thing that needs dying is rooney's contract, and he's someone else's problemThat's ban worthy.
Fair play Sir.Referring to yourself in the third person is only acceptable for Zlatan.

Manchester United's Michael Carrick speaking to Sky Sports: "Just before half-time we took our foot off the gas and let them get back in to it which we were disappointed with. What did he say?
Thanks. Great stuff by him.Manchester United's Michael Carrick speaking to Sky Sports: "Just before half-time we took our foot off the gas and let them get back in to it which we were disappointed with.
"I'm not going to change my game and Jose knows my strengths, you play some games you miss some games. People need to calm down over the squad changes - we're all in it together.
"Sometimes you play other times you don't it's a squad game and whoever plays Saturday will hopefully go in to it with confidence."
He said that in other matches tooJose saying he doesnt want to individualise in the post match
I think he looks a bit pissed off that he's having to deal with a difficult dressing room again tbh.
Ah okay thought it was a specific response to events. He said that in other matches too
He's always come across to me like a good guy. Bright and eloquent. Doesn't seem like much of a rat that's for sure.Manchester United's Michael Carrick speaking to Sky Sports: "Just before half-time we took our foot off the gas and let them get back in to it which we were disappointed with.

This is the time to truly stand by the manager, and for the first time let the manager finally take back the team, when the past 3 years we have let the inmates run the asylumJose saying he doesnt want to individualise in the post match
