One commentator on TYT made a good point that Hillary couldn't beat a black man with a Muslim name in 2008, and how many can't stand her for whatever reasons, and yet the DNC and sponsors felt she was still a great candidate.

2000 again, except this time a single extremely close state probably won't be pivotal.

whatever happens, the message is clear, America is saying feck you to the people who have run the country in recent years. It's just so ironic that they may elect the man who would step over his own daughter to make a quick buck

Genuine question. How much of the " silent " vote is influenced by the fact that men just don't want a woman in charge?
Most of the silent vote simply comes down to working class americans not trusting the status quo and hoping Trump can bring back the jobs lost overseas. Unfortunately the media coverage tends to portray Trump voters as simpletons and rednecks and so in turn the foreign public watching cant work out why people other than simpletons and rednecks will vote for trump. Truth is a decent portion of working class Americans who arent rednecks or simpletons will vote for Trump.

I don't think its as much a silent vote issue as it is a matter of populism and voter enthusiasm. When voters are driven by anger, their candidate tends to do better.

Hilary is not a real woman though... or to put it better, she is not the best candidate to benefit from being a woman; she's does not come across as a femeninista like Michelle Obama.
it wasn't so much the votes against Clinton that surprised me, it was more the votes in favour of a massive misogynist

Fecking hell, my mind is already drifting to thinking about who a potential Dem candidate in 2020 would be.
