I don't think a red card will make much difference. It was Burnley Herrera was sent off against wasnt it? And we just kept piling on the pressure after that and still should have won easily.

And that's the thing about Defoe, he's a real wind up. At West Ham, Spurs wherever he always needed a ton of chances to score, always took the greedy ball option of pushing wider and wider to shoot even when he could have thought about creating options for team mates -now he's supposed to be a hero because he got a few goals for Sunderland.

No. They create their chances from mistakes from your average defence. You have had more goals conceded from errors than any other side in England if you want to mention stats.
When Sturridge gets the ball outside the box keepers may as well automatically start diving to their right hand post. He's that predictable.

Well, whoever was speaking to him in his earpiece got it right. Don't think he was giving a red without their intervention.
Well Rojo should've had a red for both of those, this one was simply the correct decision.
Even then players were always going in very hard on him on a consistent basis and he rarely got anything from the officials.
