From a tweet: "Fernandinho will get four match ban (2nd red in PL). Will miss Cup game v West Ham plus PL matches v Everton, Spurs & West Ham"
And that's the thing about Defoe, he's a real wind up. At West Ham, Spurs wherever he always needed a ton of chances to score, always took the greedy ball option of pushing wider and wider to shoot even when he could have thought about creating options for team mates -now he's supposed to be a hero because he got a few goals for Sunderland.Defoe should've had a bloody hat-trick by now.
We will finish above them to nick top four. In fairly confident of that.Man City have been brutal.
No it wasn't, but should've been a Sunderland FK in a dangerous position. That was never a yellow tbf.
FantasticFernandinho misses Everton away and the Spurs game
Steady on, not made of money!Lump a pound on.
Teams create chances against us regularly? I think we allow fewer shots against us than most.No they create chances regularly. Taking them is another matter.
If it's a 4 game ban then he'll miss West Ham away in the FA Cup, Everton away, Spurs home and West Ham away in the league.Fernandinho misses Everton away and the Spurs game
Just great! From a tweet: "Fernandinho will get four match ban (2nd red in PL). Will miss Cup game v West Ham plus PL matches v Everton, Spurs & West Ham"
He flopped around like a starfish a few games in a row in the Moyes's season and got a bad rep then. Getting nothing from refs ever since. Why isn't Adnan getting anything from the refs? He's been fouled a few times now.
4 game ban though, and his replacement will likely be Fernando who is rubbish.I don't think a red card will make much difference. It was Burnley Herrera was sent off against wasnt it? And we just kept piling on the pressure after that and still should have won easily.
No. They create their chances from mistakes from your average defence. You have had more goals conceded from errors than any other side in England if you want to mention stats.Teams create chances against us regularly? I think we allow fewer shots against us than most.
Sent off vs Gladbach. Played 1 match then got sent off vs Chelsea, played 2 matches and then sent off again today. Horrid few months for him.Seriously? That's crazy!
Oh well yeah that's a valid criticism. It's what Chelsea don't seem to have an issue with.No. They create their chances from mistakes from your average defence. You have had more goals conceded from errors than any other side in England if you want to mention stats.
good strategy.Liverpool trying a lot of shoots from outside the box.
Dont get why they keep allowing him onto his left foot. You know thats what he wants to do. Im pretty sure Everton allowed it as well. When Sturridge gets the ball outside the box keepers may as well automatically start diving to their right hand post. He's that predictable.
What's he counting the empty seats?Full credit to Burnley, really making the extra man count.
Yep, bad decisions both times on Rojo, in this case Mason got it right.Red card looked no worse than what Rojo's twice got away with, hilariously.
Gerrard tribute.Liverpool trying a lot of shots from outside the box.
He doesn't train it, so why would he?Pep clearly doesn't understand the fine art of tackling yet.
I just feel bad for all their fans...City are so bad.
It's the rags fault, I tells you... It's the bastard rags!Red card looked no worse than what Rojo's twice got away with, hilariously.
I don't think it is a red card, I think it is harsh.
His feet are up, but when he actually makes contact with the ball his feet are on the ground. It's a little soft and Fernandinho should know you can't go in with two feet, but for me it is just a yellow card.
I think he makes contact with the ball and the player when his feet are firmly on the ground. It's more of a block tackle.
Well, whoever was speaking to him in his earpiece got it right. Don't think he was giving a red without their intervention.Yep, bad decisions both times on Rojo, in this case Mason got it right.
Well Rojo should've had a red for both of those, this one was simply the correct decision.Red card looked no worse than what Rojo's twice got away with, hilariously.
Even then players were always going in very hard on him on a consistent basis and he rarely got anything from the officials. He flopped around like a starfish a few games in a row in the Moyes's season and got a bad rep then. Getting nothing from refs ever since.
