Absolutely no excuse for what Klopp did tonight. Wenger got four matches for something that looked less insane.

Suspect he'll get away with it though. BT sport people thought it was great for some reason.
What did he do? Gif anyone?

He's an absolute disgrace. Mourinho would be banned for 5 games for that. No excuse for it.

Just saw the league table. Vital draw as City will definely have pushed us into fifth tomorrow otherwise. Psychological blow that would have been for us.

Need to beat Hull away though. Mane put that hot water bottle back on from now till then. :)

Nothing wrong with what Klopp did there, didn't even touch the fourth official..

The way Jose brutally murdered that poor, unexpecting water bottle was just bang out of order.

I don't want him banned. His headless antics on the sideline don't help his team at all.

4th official didn't give the penalty and it was a definite one anyway. Klopp is a prick.

Ye are going to run Mané into the ground like you've done with the rest of your squad. He's just back after playing more than anyone over Christmas and in Africa now you're pinning all your hopes on him.

You should have bought a couple of fresh players in January to allow you to rest players. Milner looks shattered, Lallana the same, Firmino carrying the weight if your attack by himself.

I second this heh because I said we'd struggle with a few injuries.
Do you feel like you deserve to finish top 4?
Based on the season as a whole so far, I think we do alongside Chelsea Spurs and United. We've been rubbish in January but it doesn't wipe away how good we were from August to mid/late December.

I think people acted like petty kids over the Wenger 'Assault'. It was a nothing incident and people blew it out of all proportion.

But this is bad. He's got previous for it too. Give him a one game ban and embarrass him with a disciplinary press release.

The FA flat out cannot allow managers to shout in the face of officials.

I really like Klopp. I like the football his teams play, I like his casual humour (I know a lot of Germans and I think that helps), he speaks pretty well for the most part, I'd have loved him managing here. I know people that have met him in Germany and he spent time with them drinking wine and talking about anything and everything. He seems to be a pretty enjoyable guy.

But he can't be allowed to behave like that. It's not on.

They're playing something like 15 games until the end of the season so they will get their rest.

They seem to draw the line at actually touching the official, but I think they should change that for Klopp, it would be very intimidating having this 6'5" man snarling and spitting in your face as he shouts. Players obviously do it to the ref on the field but the 4th official isn't getting paid enough to put up with that sh!t
Really?

That penalty save just saved their season. They were in freefall, and a fourth home defeat was unthinkable.

His reaction towards the fourth official was nothing short of disgraceful. What an utter twat of a man. I'd expect no repercussions though, he is our lovable charismatic PL German after all.

Not sure why he's complaining about the penalty. Thought it was a nailed on penalty.

The damage is done now though, dumped out of the cups and the title race in the space of 2 weeks. Even if they get top 4 now that'll only see them suffer even more next season with European football against superior teams who will run them around like puppies chasing a ball.

Klopp needs to learn that there's games you need to conserve energy, like that time you were 3-1 up against Bournemouth and played suicidal football. Who cares about the goals scored column at the end of the day.
