That was disgusting. Mings will definitely get a lesser ban though, I am calling it.

These bans are nothing. He shouldn't be allowed to play again. Could've been fatal.

Looks far from intentional. Looked like a standard fellaini type tussle, if you take it in isolation (ignoring the fact he got stamped by the same cnut on the head).
He basically bottled the header because he was going for the elbow:lol:

For Zlatan as well, he tried the first stamp but only just caught him and then the elbow as well.

As for Surman he done nothing.

Don't know what Sky have been like but NBCSN completely ignored this in order to build up the outrage at Ibrahimovic not being sent off.
Carragher and Henry very understanding of what Zlatan did. Carragher said Mings "deserves a smack"

Come on, it was clearly intentional and was retaliation for the stamp. I totally understand why he's done it, but you can't deny that he's done it.

i think ref booked him only because he didnt remember he was already on a yellow. Im 100% sure he wouldnt have done it else.

Nonchalantly scoring the winner...
Should be a season long ban, that's one of the worst things I've seen in the PL.

Zlatan's elbow is by the by, you see elbows like that every other week, whether he gets banned or not the discussion must only be about Mings.

Deserved everything he got from Ibra.

It was definitely intentional. He had a look first and saw exactly where Ibra was and brought his foot down with some force.

Absolutely disgusting.

Could have done serious long term damage to Zlatan. As in damage you don't recover from for the rest of your life.

Stamp looks intentional to me, Absolutely fecked, that is totally unjustifiable and so dangerous, you'd go to prison for that outside of sport. Shouldn't play again, for at least a long time. Elbow obviously retaliation - you'd say a red but mings shouldn't have been on the pitch when it happened.

Mings, what a cnut. Not sure what Bournemouth and their flat fecking faced manager's problem is

Mings should get at least a 10 game ban for that. Zlatan probably a 3 game ban. In this case, I'd say the ban was worth the retaliation. We cannot let an opposition player stamp on one of our players' head and get away with it. Could you imagine some player trying that against us when Roy Keane was playing for us? He'd get fecking murdered and he'd know it. We do not want to be a dirty team but we need to show that you cannot do shit like that against us. Zlatan did and I applaud him. He's playing shit though.

In any case, if the headlines are going to be about that elbow and not that stamp on the head, something is deeply, horribly wrong with football.

"No doubt about that flying elbow from Ibrahimovic though. The United player retaliated after Mings' appeared to deliberately stamp on Ibrahimovic. "

Wahey boys BbC finally opened their eyes, still no follow up on it though

Anyone would want payback if they got stamped on but still, both should be off.

There won't be any retrospective punishment for Zlatan because it was seen. That's why he spoke to him.
