Had a good game to be fair. Stupid stamp though. We'll have half our second string out next game at this rate. And most of our first string is second string quality
This. At this rate, it wouldn't surprise me if de Gea catches the flu, Valencia gets syphilis and Mkhitaryan gets polio before our next match.

Yep, hes getting banned. But also shows the influence BBC / Sky Sports can have. if they dont analyze this it goes away. They can essentially pick and choose what to highlight.

That's a very Rojo thing to do, after he played so well. The daft tit.

Oh for feck sake, that stamp was so unnecessary. To be without Rojo for at least 3 league games is going to be absolute shit.

Saw that in real time but since Hazard didn't over react it was forgotten about. Doesn't look too bad but deserves a ban all the same.

Played brilliant tonight, pity he lost the head for that split second.

Deserves to be banned. Like Zlatan he keeps doing these things because refs allow him to. Catching up with him now as it does with everyone.

If he's meant to stamp on Hazard, Hazard would still be rolling around. Truth is, he's barely made contact.

This guy is one of the most limited defenders I've ever seen but he has shone through many matches this season. If the FA are consistent then he will be banned like Mings was and we can have no complaint.

Good to have a few cnuts in the team and he played like he'd just discovered Costa had been boning his missus, which is refreshing compared to some of the polite sorts who seem to meekly accept defeat before blogging/tweeting their apologies.

Loved his attitude tonight.

Ffs.... Just seen that incident. Yeah, this really sums him up. A bit of a nutcase :D

The whole performance deserves credit, nevertheless.

Love the bit at the end where he went charging upwards to press, which then made Rashford press and we kind of had them in a corner, only for Pogba to jog then stop and let the Chelsea play out.

So infuriating when others are scared to play or take responsibility.

Was the stamp really that bad? Isn't Hazard the type to make the most of it if it really was? Not sure he will get banned for that.

Hope he and Bailly get to play together in the center of defense. Rate Smalling, but Rojo has been better this season.

Thought the stamp looked like he meant to do it then sort of changed his mind last minute and slowed down.
That's what I thought. Wouldn't be able to complain if banned which is a shame as he was brilliant tonight.

I'd be amazed if he didn't get banned, looks to be a definite deliberate stamp to me.

I don't get this guy, he's brilliant half times and a total headcase the rest of it. He went in two footed earlier in the season and was very fortunate to avoid a red card. A couple of games later and he does the exact same thing (and amazingly got away with it again). This past week we've seen the most talked-about suspension of the season for a stamp by Mings, and yet Rojo puts the boot in on someone almost the very next game. I'm really surprised he hasn't got himself a reputation yet either.

What does this mean exactly? Limited is not a word i'd think of using to describe Rojo who has a decent mix of physical and technical qualities

More of a step than a stamp but intent is all that matter. Might get a more lenient offense because of the severity of the challenge.

Very good defensively today, though that stamp should cost him games. Such a stupid thing to do.

Love him proving people wrong. Obviously we need to improve on him but when played at CB, he has shown he is more the capable of doing a job.

Yeah. Still expect Rojo to get the same 5 game ban Mings got despite Mings' stamp being worse.

Think he stamped on Hazard on purpose

Ah, bollocks. Thought that happened, but they never showed a decent replay. Can understand him being proper pissed off with Hazard and Costa diving all over the place, but I prefer him in the team and not on the sidelines. So weird that Hazard didn't make a huge meal of it the one time he had a good reason.

There's a little bit of a difference with stamping on someone's head and their back.
