Everything about it is just shite.

It's a poorly done tattoo artistically.
It's a tattoo of himself ffs.
It's a tattoo of a insignificant moment in his career
It's a tattoo of him in a City shirt, he's got his whole career ahead of him, who knows what he will achieve or where he will end up (or how things may one day go sour). Now he's got a tattoo of himself in City shirt for the rest of his life.

If it was Pogba with a United related tattoo, most fans would be happy.

Definitely tops Memphis Depay's lion tattoo. At least his can be explained away. With Sané, the conversation would go something like this:

Person: "What's that tattoo of?"
Sane: "It's of me celebrating a goal in the Champions League."
Person: "Really? Was it the winning goal?"
Sane: "No, someone else scored before me but I thought it was a pretty cool moment."
Person: "What kind of goal was it?"
Sane: "A tap-in."
Person: "Who was it against?"
Sane: "Monaco."
Person: "Oh. At least it was in the final, right?"
Sane: "No."
Person: "Semi final?"
Sane: "No..."
Person: "Quarter final?"
Sane: "No. Last 16."
Person: "Ah. I'm guessing you made it to the quarters though, right?"
Sane: "Nah, we lost the second leg."

New things Leroy Sane has to consider:

1. Continue to do this celebration every time you score so you can say it's from a way more significant moment in your career
2. When you leave City, join another club that has a round badge so you can have the tattoo easily modified
3. Don't get it coloured in
4. Never take your shirt off ever again unless you're alone to avoid looking like a daft cnut

Might just be one of those temporary tattoos, similar to what Zlatan got a couple of seasons ago to raise awareness of people suffering from hunger.

Awful nonetheless.

Is Sane trying to raise awareness that he's a sad wanker? Does the job I must say.

completely agree with everyone on here, but anyone have any real insight into what that goal actually meant to him (eg. did his grandad die the day before and this goal was in tribute to him and he wanted that memory with him forever etc?). As stupid as some tattoos might seem to some, there might be a genuine reason behind it. Tattoos can be a very theraputic thing for some

If pogba scored a tap in and got a picture of him dabbing even though we dodnt get through, he would het slated by the press, and all the fans , maybe even mou.

Possibly, but lets just side with the fact man city have a history of terrible tattoo decisions
