Nobody cares about the opinions of those handkerchief waving cnuts.

Next time Morata misses a chance they'll start whistling and waving the chiefs.

Lukaku is no youth product, and Morata has indicated he doesnt want to leave it all and says Madris is his city and town, even preferred Milan above us. Yes, I'll gladly have people with a long term future here.
Lukaku has made comments to the fact that he had unfinished business at Chelsea and would like to return there.

Morata has already debunked the Milan rumors and categorically stated he was not going to Italy (not just Milan).

Morata want to be a starter. If he can be starter at Madrid why would he or anyone player for that matter leave to come to United. Expecting such is simply delusional. If he cannot be a starter, he has expressed his intentions to seek such elsewhere. So yes he does not want to leave Madrid, but will leave to get a starting role.

If we dont want Morata cos of his ties to Madrid, we really should forget about Griezmann as well cos he also doesnt wish to leave Atletico. We should also lose interest in Mbappe who doesnt want to leave Monaco and even likes Madrid.

Like most fans, they are more forgiving of their youth products, but will stick the fork in the outsider.

Casillas says hi.
Those same fans sided with Casillas against Mou, and it was after it became quite glaring that Mou was right that they eventually got fed up with him.

Navas has been very good for them but will get roasted after every little mistake, while San Casillas almost got away with murder

I could see him scoring at least 15 league goals in a season, which would be a decent output with the expectation to see him grow into the league. What we lacked this year was goals from other attackers - so for that reason I don't think Morata's low record to date is an issue.

Other benefits -
* his game style will bring others into play.
* I think he is a few years away from his peak - whereas I think somebody like Lukaku may have hit his peak this year, or will hit it next.

Like most fans? Sorry but I don't know of any other ungrateful cnuts like that lot.

We still worship Ronaldo and sing about him when he made a fuss to leave and said he was treated like a slave. They have had a GOAT candidate in their team for 8 years now who's smashed the all time records in everything football related yet as soon as he misses a couple of chances they start fecking booing.

Don't tell me that's "most fans".

Morata is the better striker but Benz is the better company for Ronaldo on the pitch. Easy.
They are both very different players.

Morata is your traditional #9 and Benz is more of a 9.5. That is why it has been good to have both on the team, so we always have a different option.

The issue I see with Morata is he can't do these sort of things to an opposing defence:

They are very different but that's why I said Benzema is a better company for Ronaldo on the pitch. He's used to build up the play and help the Ronaldo score loads of goals, hence make the team system much better and more efficient.

Morata has a different style of play and isn't the one that will help Ronaldo on the pitch as Benz, and having Ronaldo scoring his loads of goals that can bring titles is much more important than satisfying Morata.

Morata will be good in another system of play I believe, but the main system of Madrid isn't suited for him. It's suited more for Benzema.

I thought that was the whole point of the Morata frenzy is that he can do all these stuff. I don't think that's the right argument to say why he gets picked. Zidane just believes he's a better striker. My personal opinion Benzema has declined and will probably continue to do so.

He had a bad season by his standards following on from probably his best season where he scored 28 goals. What seems to be forgotten is how good Benzema was at the end when the titles are on the line and that is all that matters really.

Whenever he's in the channels, he still shows he's really great on the ball. Those moments from Benzema are freakishly good.

I can't see Morata leaving. The fans seem to like him and if it's true that they were chanting for him to stay then these calls will be heard. The fans seem to hold a lot of sway over there.
No they don't.

Marca polls were saying most Madrid fans did not want De Gea. They preferred Navas.

Still hasn't stopped Real pursuing De Gea.

Some of the goals he's scored...

His technique is brilliant, think he'd do very well in the Prem. Does actually remind me a bit of Torres as well, the way he runs the channels, beats the defensive line and his dribbling.
On a side note, any enterprising left back should take note of Marcelo's crossing in these clips. Lethal and often indefensible.

If you think Griezmann meltdown was bad, I shudder to think what'll happen if we are stupid enough to swap DDG for this bloke plus cash :nervous:

I don't rate him at all, his goalscoring record has been bang average and we need better if we're aiming to compete at the top. Before people bring up his this season stats, do remember he's playing for Real Madrid right now who create more chances in 90 mins than we do across 2/3 matches.

We created more chances than most teams in the PL

That'd be the same Bernabeu that was booing and waving the handkerchiefs at a certain Cristiano Ronaldo? Wonder why I find it difficult to take their opinion as gospel...

As someone who has watched a feck-ton of Madrid this season, Morata is bloody great. His movement in the box is fantastic, his ability on the ball is as you'd expect for a Spaniard, he packs a cracking shot on him, his goal scoring record IS decent (20 goals in 17 starts for Madrid), and if he was a regular started at a Premiership goal he would score a ton.

Much better idea than Lukaku for a world record fee or Belotti.
