i don't think he lives madrid, but if he signed for a competitive premier league team? that team wins at least the next 2 league titles. Worth 100m+ any day of the week

Any united fans interested in the fact that he may be a multi millionaire tax dodger? Thoughts on him joining united if he is found guilty

Depends if he's done something illegal or not. All the players at all the top clubs will be dodging as much tax as they can get away with.

Its not like he is like some racist cnut like John Terry or a rapist...

Record (Portuguese newspaper) just reported that Ronaldo isn't going back to Madrid.

http://www.record.pt/internacional/real-madrid/detalhe/cristiano-ronaldo-ja-nao-volta-a-madrid.html (sorry, its in portuguese)

Seems a bit vague but it says something along the lines that he already decided that he isn't going to play for Madrid next season since he has no intentions of going back there.
Imo it looks like pure speculation with no hard evidences to support that claim but if it's true, it makes this summer way more interesting.
RM and United. Locked into two love stories -- De Gea and Ronnie.

Some people never learn. I'm surprise there are serious discussions about him returning again.

He'll get a new contract and Real will pay for his taxes and it's over. Real will never let him leave.
This.

Plus considering that he has not used that key phrase, Only God knows tm ... we know this is only a strop.

I've decided, he's coming back and y'all gonna eat your words. Only us/psg can afford his wage and transfer fee, and I want to believe it so that's what I'll do.

Haha. I just enjoy this being part of the narrative this summer, even if it's just for laughs.

11 pages already you insatiable muppets
Embrace it. There's no real credible link to Dier and that has 35 pages of people losing their minds and falling out with each other all over the shop.

I think I'd cry if he came home, but its not going to happen so I'm not gonna get my hopes up.

Cristiano Ronaldo's reasons for wanting to leave Real Madrid

http://www.marca.com/en/football/real-madrid/2017/06/16/5943c98a46163fb6658b45d0.html

Interesting part:
He wants to look for a new club
Ronaldo has decided that he will not return to Spanish football, despite Los Blancos going through a real purple patch and the life that he has in the capital with his son and girlfriend.

His main choice has always been to return to Manchester United and that could now come true.

irreversible he's coming home chaps. Let's get some Ronaldo, Morata, James and Bale hype. We're going to be the Real Madrid that actually has De Gea.

He'd cost much more than 60 millions. And he will win us a few league titles even in "decline", which are basically priceless for us
While Ronaldo is clearly still a top player, it's impossible to say how long he'll retain that status. He's picked up a few injuries this season and his body must start to break down eventually.

People are citing Ibrahimovic as an example of what can be achieved at 35, but it's hard to think of any other forward who's still thriving in one of the top leagues at that age. Plus it's worth nothing that Ibra didn't win us the league and a lot of fans would argue that his lack of mobility hindered us at times last season.

He doesn't want to play in Spain or he wants RM to pay him the 15M EUR he is due for his taxes?

Would rather not pay a lot of money for a 32 year old alleged tax fraud.

On the one hand I'm not going to get drawn into this.

But on the other....

Please come home Ronny, I would cry with sheer delight and buy every strip next season with the man's name emblazoned across the back. He is the G.O.A.T and would get us challenging for every available honour. My favourite player, do it Ronny :drool:

God I love silly season.

He just signed one 6 months ago until 2021, this has to be a move for either make Real Madrid commit to cover the amount he should pay if the tax thing goes wrong, or to get Florentino Perez to try his hardest to touch his political strings and kill this thing once and for all
