Cech
Holding Koscielny Mustafi
Bellerin Xhaka Ramsey Kolasinac
Alexis Ozil
Lacazette

Bench: Giroud Coquelin Monreal Gabriel Elneny Ox/Iwobi Mertesacker

Question marks over the future of Ospina, Wilshere, Perez, Jenkinson, Debuchy, both Walcott and Ox, Gibbs. Cazorla still injured too.

Not to mention the likes of Welbeck, Sczcesny, Chambers, Campbell.
So I'm assuming you are happy with Lacazette & Kolasinac only??

or

Do you need more signings to improve that XI realistically this summer? Or you are confident with that XI.

I don't think I rate that duo midfield at the moment but I'm guessing that you are expecting a massive step up from both Ramsey and Xhaka then?

Can only go wth what we've got at the moment but as I said above we could do with a CM. talk of Mahrez and Lemar obviously but I don't know if that'll go ahead should Sanchez stay, especially if all of Welbeck, Walcott and Ox are still with us.

I think I might confused you, my main questions were:

Are you satisfied if you don't make any more signing and able to keep Sanchez and the others? Confident enough if you can challenge the league with the current squad? Or you aren't satisfied enough and not confident enough because you haven't sign one more player which is midfielder or whatever you think need to be or must be upgraded this summer?

I'm happy with that team with caveats. We have a lot of players in various stages of limbo and so it's hard to draw conclusions about our depth. It wouldn't be an Arsenal season if we didn't suffer significant injuries. The central midfield pairing on their best day are excellent but those days can be few and far between.
I don't think more new signings will solve these issues though (CM aside). I'm always optimistic, because I'm a masochist.
I think we can win the league but probably won't. I have no idea how Europa will play out but we've done well in cups recently so I'm kind of looking forward to it.

Lacazette looks like a good player but so did Chamakh in Ligue 1. Only time will tell if he suits the premier league.
Chamakh looked crap in L1 despite his goals though - that can not be said of Lacazette who looks class.

I expect it to come down to Sanchez. If he stays he will create the space Lacazette is used to in France and he will do well, a little like Suarez and Sturridge. If Sanchez leaves all the defensive attention will be on Lacazette and they'll see more of the national team version.

Apparently, Sanchez demands 400000-a-week to stay. That's just crazy! Only China can afford it.

They did improve quite a bit in the last 10 games albeit with 3 centre backs covering for them. With Ramsey it depends if he can stay fit, because his biggest strength is his stamina if he has setbacks his stamina won't be at it's peak.

Whether they're good enough for a title challenge is another matter.

Arsenal's midfield has been a bit odd since Fabregas left. Obviously they expected Wilshere to be a mainstay in the team for years, but even then he needed a calming influence beside him, someone to dictate the tempo and they haven't had that in years. Arteta was a stop gap and Ramsey had one great season, they've had plenty of decent midfielders but not one key figure that holds the midfield together.

Thats just what he wants to stay though....thats the Arsenal tax. He'd be happy with his current wage at other clubs if you'd only let him leave I reckon. He'll be gutted if you match it and he has to come up with something else.

Yeah, i reckon he is only forcing a move. No way any club can afford that wage.

We are ready to submit a new offer for Lemar, just a bit short of what Monaco are asking for him.

I reckon he's giving you two options. Becomes the highest paid footballer in Europe and he will stay so he can enjoy the money or leaves so he can enjoy winning trophies (CL & League).

The problem is that he is stopping us from buying some other players with his request. If you payed him what he wanted there would be no other business.

I rate Lacazete and think he'll do well. 52m is big money but it's all relevent as not many top CFs about.

Belotti has a release of 88m and United are getting Lukaku for 75m (which I think is pretty fair)

Arsenal have improved their defence and attack over the last 2 summers but they're seriously lacking in quality in midfield now that Cazorla's career looks over. What happened to Goretzka links?

L'Equipe said we offered 45m euros? Or is that the previous bid?
That's the latest bid as I read it yesterday. It is a bit low considering Bernardo Silva's fee

Yeah, i reckon he is only forcing a move. No way any club can afford that wage.
I think so too, it'd give him the perfect excuse to leave because he'd cry that the club didn't listen to his demands

Well that's not even close to the truth though is it ? If you pay him the £400k instead of say £250k (don't know what he's on), then that's still only an extra £7.8m per annum. You can likely buy a spare pair of boots for that in today's market.

Arsenal doing some good business with Lacazette and Lemar, I think they should concentrate on keeping Sanchez and cash in on Ozil, a Sanchez/Lacazette/Lemar front 3 would have a lot of pace and fluidity to it.

Lacazette would benefit from Ozil's passing though.

90 mil for Sanchez would be great. We could get Mahrez/Lemar and one CB with that amount of money.
