Haven't we heard this routine before? The squad is already pretty light. I don't see Mourinho being keen on selling his plan B for the sort of fee that won't make any sort of difference when reinvested.
I used to think along these lines - 'we'll never make progress until we stop relying on Plan Bs like Fellaini'. But I'm coming round to the opposite stance: you can get all purist once you're back at the top level, but to get there in the first place you're going to have to be pragmatic.
