Definitely against this... Wouldn't want to wear a jersey with their logo on it and definitely won't get one for my 5yr old..

I can't imagine they'd go through with this, seems so inappropriate considering the brand of the club is aimed a all ages. That said, we have a noodle partner...

I'd imagine with Tinder being a service for over 18s the same rules will apply as alcohol and betting sponsors so won't appear on junior replica shirts. Seem to remember someone having Durex sponsor them and same applied there.

I don't think the noodles we sponsor are particularly slutty though.

I'm amazed by the general consensus around here in a world where advertising of alcohol and Gambling is rife. You go to a stadium and there are constant billboards for companies like Betfred and BetCon, is it okay to advertise gambling to a child then? Even when you watch a game there are constant ads on tv for them. It's a dating app, it's not a terrorist organisation. Like people have also said, Payday loans are plastered over countless clubs.

Not that I'm personally saying I'm for or against this. Just seems like for some reason some things are seen as less acceptable than other things which are ultimately just as bad if not worse.

Hear Hear. In terms of being morally corrupt, there are a lot worse sponsors out there all over the place, where nobody batters an eyelid about.

Be a laughing stock for 12m not even worth it. 12m is nothing what with the prices for players set this summer
I wouldn't care so much abt the 12m, but putting a cheap brand on our sleeve should be worth a lot more.

12m? Would hardly buy you a footballers arm these days ffs..
It won't be for one season. And the way a transfer is amortized, that's probably more like a £60m player, or £250k/week for the wage bill. Better a bit of a shit but legit sponsor that some plastic oil club shit.

I'm surprised we've gone this long without a sleeve sponsor if I'm honest, but I suppose if we'll be getting £12m a year then the wait was worth it as that's one of the highest sleeve sponsorships? £12m on it doesn't sound like much, but when you add it to what's already being paid then it's a nice boost. If the opportunity is there you might aswell take it.

Tinder is slowly becoming more of social media platform than dating, in some countries you can even find jobs on there. Its really not as crass or tacky as a lot of people are making out. I'm sure some of people slating this deal haven't even used it.

Any company with 50 million customers and valued over a billion £'s can hardly be labelled a cheap brand. Probably hoping to use this deal to shift the perception most have that it's just a shag app. Though it is pretty good for that if that's what you're after.

Obviously Tinder isn't a cigarette or alcohol brand, but is this sponsorship likely to happen considering it represents a hook-up site? A large percentage of our kit sales must come from kids and teenagers, with their parents not wanting them associated with the topic. Although, I suppose the sleeve logo could be dropped from non-adult strips?

"Daddy, Daddy, I want to go on Tinder... and drive a Chevrolet car!"

It's a dating app. You're several years behind if you think it's largely used for hookups.

If you are concerned about a logo on a shirt corrupting your children's minds then I strongly advise against you having kids.

From the old days of players wearing their heart on their sleeves, we're now at players wearing their cocks there. Good times!

Someone wanna tell me how Tinder have £12mill in the first place? Plenty of Fish was the better of the Dating apps and i don't see that spunking money left and right.

Because you're very much in a minority in thinking POF is preferable to tinder.

Spunking left and right is far more Tinder's modus operandi.

But yourself and many are okay wearing the swoosh symbol being stitched on using child labor in a sweatshop?

Somebody please think of the children...when it's convenient for me to get worked up about

What's your point?

The logo is only displayed on one sleeve and traditionally these kind of deals are worth about 20% of the main shirt sponsor deal.

We should go for that. They'd certainly be making a point, considering the colour of our shirt.

So if I wear Nike or Adidas products I need to accept whatever logos they put on the jersey?

Makes perfect sense
