Nah, Paulinho was £36 Million. Matic was around the same or more depending on the source.5m more than Matic..

Not the highest of levels but hes the best player in the league and also great for Brazil. Good signing for Barca, hes underrated from his time at Spurs.Strange.
Is there anyone here that can attest to the level of the Chinese league and how he's done there? I'm thinking of Defoe going to the MLS and returning to the PL to score a bucket of goals. Wasn't all that bad.
Yep, this is why I hate WC year transfers for Brazil players. Seems to negatively affect us every WC cycle. Unfortunately we've got quite a few this season- hopefully they all work out.As far as I'm concerned, Tite got him this transfer. When he was recalled, myself and other NT supporters was like wtf but he shut us up with his performances.
In saying that, he moved to Spurs during a WC year and it greatly affected his performance. Now, he has been brought for a lot of money and a fanbase that don't want him and again during a WC year. He risking his shot at the WC with this move.
The fact is that they were just happy to have the MSN. The rest wasn't important.Barca's signing after they won Cl in 2015 has been horrendous tbh, I think that CL win made them complacent
Official Barca accountWow is that Paulinho tweet real?
Paulinho has his own thread in RedCafe AND he gets signed by Barcelona, Neymar has totally screwed our timeline

Boateng was a young German international who had been impressing in the Bundesliga since his teens. He wanted to move to back to Germany and Bayern took the pretty risk free option to take him back there. I don't see it as a comparable situation at all. I get the point you're trying to make but that's a poor example.Everyone seems to be judging him on what he did at Spurs. By that logic, Bayern should have never signed Jerome Boateng cause he stunk at City.
He's been more than solid on the International stage for Brazil. It's a decent signing for them. They need a CM and he'll fit in well.
They must think that those trio will last more than 5 years, imagine what happens when Messi retiresThe fact is that they were just happy to have the MSN. The rest wasn't important.
random.Surely one of the weirdest career trajectories ever?
Brazil > Lithuania > Poland> Brazil > England > China > Spain
He isn't as bad as people think, definitely still good enough to play in Europe but starting for Brazil and playing very well does not mean much as international form and club form are two different things. If he still plays for brazil, it should mean he is still a quality player, no?

Yep, Real doesn't even need to buy many players, as they already have some gems like Llorente and Asensio. They must think that those trio will last more than 5 years, imagine what happens when Messi retires
Real on the other side has been really great at preparing for the future
Surely Laporta is preparing his return
Some Twitter comments on this deal:
Bartomeu m cago en tus muertos pisoteaos muerete hijo d puta

Imaginate a Bartomeu llevando un club como Depor o Osasuna, lo baja a 3a

Yes,I think that he could prepare a candidatureReally?
Difficult to do worse than the current board, plus he was the man who started building the best team in the world.Yes,I think that he could prepare a candidature
Should this be translated? Should i. Translate it? It's pretty much heavy insults

Funny enough there actually is another player named Paulinho in Brazil who's 17 years old and plays for Vasco. There were some talks in Brazil that he's better than Vinicius who Real paid 45m Euros for.I thought it was some new Brazilian wonderkid, not this bag of crap who didn't do anything at Spurs.
