I mean, I don't know how he's played since leaving Spurs, but if Stoke had signed him I wouldn't have been surprised in the slightest. Barcelona seem intent on winning a race to mediocrity.

Wouldn't take that as gospel but it's interesting.
Aside from the common sense ones like Suarez and Neymar. They can't seem to identify talent outside of marquee players.
Even if he actually turns out good, that's one of the oddest transfers I've ever seen considering his age, current club, club that signed him and fee.
