how's that even possible? footballer's are obviously on drugs. I tore my ACL & Meniscus over the summer and was told it's a minimum of nine months rehab after the surgery.

Very good news, and nice to be in a position where he doesn't need to be rushed back.

Yay. He's become one of my favourite players and really won me over last season.

Excellent. I see no need to drop Jones because he's been immense but Rojo is the better player.

Pros of Jones form is Rojo does not have to be rushed back in. We're really lucky in our CB department compared to Arsenal, City & Liverpool aren't we?

Fantastic news

Jones and Bailly have been absolute rocks so far this season but it'd be nice to have rojo as back up

They probably are but having the best surgeons, physios, equipment etc on call at any time must help a hell of a lot.

Against Everton last season at Old Trafford I watched him closely as I was sat where he was defending in the first half and I was thoroughly impressed with him. Especially loved the copious amounts of grief he was giving DDG for being hesitant leading to mistakes. I think he's going to give Mourinho a real selection headache soon.

They're pro athletes with access to the best medical care and facilities in the world. You're just a massive spanner.

Bear in mind this quote from Mourinho during pre-season:
"So I would say Luke September, Young October, Marcos December, even January, but it's good to have them.
No doubt he was being conservative, but even so... not sure how Rojo has made a return a training so soon. Unless he's just saying hello. :)

So for the CB position we have Bailly, Jones, Lindelof, Rojo, Smalling and Blind... Even Tuanzebe if needed.

I still see one of them leaving, most likely Smalling.

Fantastic news. Can't wait to see him and Bailly in the middle of our defense again.

Although he's back in training I don't think we'll see him in first team action until October/November.

Great news, I really rate him. Although Jones is in a very good form, I ser Eric-Rojo as our starting cb partnership.

A year ago I wouldn't believe my eyes if I read that sentence. And I would definitely seek help if I found myself to agree with you, as I do. How times changes...

Mourinho just said December at the earliest.
Looks like we are being vague about return dates.
Good.

Ecstatic with this news. When we were in for Griezmann, I assumed we'd try and play a 352 more often. Although I couldn't account for how good Lindelof would or wouldn't be, my guess was that, for the price he'd be starter and on paper Bailly-Lindelof-Rojo looks a brilliant set of CB's.

Rojo a natural leftie and Lindelof apparently being quite dominant aerially - felt like they all complimented each other really well (Again, on paper)

I will quote this on our next defensive injury crisis.

Great to see him back, probably was our best and most consistent CB last season, struck up a great partnership with Jones until they both got crocked.

returning to training doesn't mean his injury has suddenly healed, just means he will start doing light running and little bits of ball work surely?

My mate did his ACL and was back doing very light running 2months afterwards, just couldn't do anything more than that and physio for a good few months.

Report from United is that Shaw and Young have both 'returned from injury' whilst Rojo is 'back among the group' whilst he continues his rehab.

The fact that he was out there doesn't mean he's training with the others and doing what they are doing. He most likely isn't. It's normal to be able to walk, jog and move relatively freely 3 months after surgery. That's probably what he's doing out there - part of the physiotherapy. I wouldn't expect him to play football, even in training, for quite some time yet.
