Amazing. Considering he probably played less games than the other biggies, is even more impressive.

Just out of curiosity - can anyone recall the last time DDG made a mistake that lead to a goal ? And I don't mean a goal you would expect him to save, but a big mistake which he had quite a few of in his first couple of seasons

I can't recall any in the last 2-3 seasons but there must have been some ? Or .. ?

The last howler was in the Moyes season. That one against Sunderland in the League Cup semi, when it just sort of went through his hands and trickled in.

Then Hernandez equalised a minute later, which forced us to endure one of the most hilarious penalty shootouts.

Think he made a really bade mistake against Stoke at home last season which allowed Allen to equalise.

Yeah, that's not great, though I'm not sure I'd rank it close to the Sunderland howler. The shot takes a deflection which causes him to have to change what he's trying to do. It was soft, his parry should have been firmer. I'd rank it as a 'could have done better' than an out and out mistake.

I just saw the incredible stat somewhere that we have not conceded at home since April (league I guess). I wonder how many games that actually translates to but regardless sounds impressive.

Another incredible save. What a fecking player.

Make him the highest paid player in the club. Can’t afford to lose him.

I'd seriously think about giving him the captains armband if he plans on staying a few more years.

Best in the world. Without him we'd have probably drawn at CSKA, too. We're quite easy to play through.

Give him a ten year contract and pay him whatever he wants.

You have to have that leadership, commanding ability as well. Although does shout out its just not a captains shout if that makes sense. Not like Kahn or a Schmeichel in those aspects. Goalkeeping ability though, the best.

I think that was among his best 3 saves at the very least, possibly even the best
