Never really looked like conceding. Problem is we don't look like scoring either. We just cannot keep the ball for shit.

Spurs the better side since the opening 10mins. Not really threatened us too much though.

Pleased with the effort and shape, lack of quality in key places is frustrating.

Herrera and Mkhi letting us down in that regard.

Poor game so far, our front 2 haven't had a snifter.
Tottenham not massively threatening but only takes one set piece.

The system looks fine to contain and match them, but seems to give us zero attacking ability.

How can anyone criticize any player today except Herrera and Mikhi is beyond me. They're both the main culprits of our impotent attack and the main cause of isolation of our attackers and depending on long balls. If you don't have a proper midfielder and a number 10 that can carry the ball forward don't expect to play any proper football any time soon.

We can't fix anything. Keep this as it's and hope we nick a goal.

Decent half. We defend well and got good intensity, but lack quality going forward. Nothing new with this. Rashford doing really well.

Very disappointed with Lukaku and Mkhitaryan. Martial and Lingard on for them would be my moves.

Lingard for Mkhitaryan at 60', maybe. And Martial for Rashford a bit later.

Lots of problems here. None of our central defenders can carry the ball out. Neither midfielder passing well. Number 10 missing in action, and as a result, our strikers are feeding off scraps. Overall theres no pattern to our game. Only upside is that Spurs aren't in full flow either.
Bailey has the ability to carry the ball out of defence. He's quite talented with the ball. Same with Jones, he used to make marauding runs early on in his career. None of them are great passers that's true. But the entire team has passed pathetically today. Shocking stuff.

Generally dreadful, interspersed with moments of utter mediocrity. Mkhitaryan seriously needs to feck off.

Tight game, with both teams not really creating a whole lot. Would say tottenham edged the first half, but Jose wouldn't have been to unhappy with how we are playing so far. We really need to be a lot sharper in the final third though, been a few times where we have ruined potential attacks with poor passes.

Yeah, not the best of halves. Some players massively underperforming and we can not build an attack what so ever. Looking quite solid at the back though, except for that moment with De Gea and Jones. Tough game.

I thought we were away team.

Not just by the way the team plays, the noises from crowd too. Pretty weird match. Or I am just too sleepy at 5 am in the morning.

Mata for a centerback if Mourinho decides to go all attack.

BTW, some fans negativity here are really amusing. You'll feel they're torturing themselves watching football. If I reached this level of negativity it'll be my last time watching football.
