Awesome. While Conte and Jose focus on their next jab at each other in pressers, Pep will continue to run away with the league. Maybe both of these clowns should be more concerned about how their teams perform on the pitch rather than how they should act on the sidelines. This is beyond silly.

Where do you pull this garbage from?

He wasn't manager of Italy at the time and was in august of 2012 the ban was starting
Conte was suspended while coaching Juve for matchfixing happening while he was in charge at Sienna.
He was acquitted right before taking leading the Azzurri at the Euros.
Prior poster was correct in his facts.

Lol some of the posters in the forum.

Comparing Jose'e low life comments/antics to Fergie.
Low life comment is talking about mental illness, Jose saying factual statement that someone was banned for match fixing is not. Conte might be acquitted but that doesn't mean he wasn't banned.

Out of context. Pep said: "He does the talking in the press room, we do the talking on the pitch."

Funny how spot on that is even 7 years later.

But yeah, good amusement by Mou.

You're actually wrong. He said that Jose won the battle off the pitch and that he can't compete with him in that regard, but that he'd meet Madrid when the game started.

More like ‘he does the talking in the press room and pitch, I do mines with the infinite money I get to splash year after year’ ...

Conte took Jose's words on him self, and spoke about him directly then Jose replied with some facts included. What is low life comments?

Well, technically this is between Conte and Jose, and currently their teams are neck and neck, so I'd say their "talking on the pitch" is also about par with each other.

And honestly, feck Conte. Mou wasn't even talking about him, and I thought his comments on Mourinho and "demenza senile" were pretty disrespectful, and didn't receive the media condemnation it deserved.
Media just hates Mou a little bit more?

Typical Mourinho. Let's start deflecting attention from my failures on the pitch by talking shit about other clubs/managers.

They are both deflecting the attention from the fact that they haven't even come close to challenging for the title!

 Jose made a general comment but Conte just fell in journalists trap when they said Jose was talking about Conte. Chelsea press officer is waste of space sitting next to Conte.

If anything Conte is really clown for always falling for Journalists trap every single time.

That's the thing, Mourinho wasn't necessarily talking about Conte. Why did your manager feel targeted ? There are many managers all around the world who acts like idiots on the touchline as a testimony of "passion". If the question is asked to a manager who isn't as stupid as Conte, he easily deflects and says something like "I don't feel concerned by this".

Can you believe they’re both old men, stuff like this makes me realise how pathetic football can be.

Both need to grow up and focus on their clubs.

The whole thing is grotesque to me. I cannot say I enjoy childish spats but the worst is Conte for me, the way he felt targeted by Mourinho in the first place.
He didn't name anyone so Conte could have easily deflected but no, big Antonio had to respond...
That's the problem with Conte, he doesn't seem to be a bad guy but he is easily excitable and susceptible.

These two won't even look at each other at Old Trafford.

Conte will go absolutely mental if they beat us though.

This would be all well and good if either of us were actually in a title race.

Not entirely sure what Mourinho hopes to gain.

Yep, the whole thing is stupid. The media are loving this though, they are getting what they hoped for.

Reading some of these comments, it's like some people are trying to kid themselves into thinking that football should be a gentlemans sport.
There's always been banter among players mangers and fans. I'm not really keen on Mourinho's style of football, but his ability to wind everyone up is priceless.
He never got under SAF's nose, because he respected him so much. Love or hate Mourinho, we need characters like him in the game or it wouldn't be the same.
We'll look back on this stuff and laugh, like when he called Wenger an expert in failure. Mourinho sets himself up as the pantomime villain, which is why everyone loves it when he's beaten, and hate him when he wins. Chelsea fans are now on the receiving end, so are wound up. I'm sure it'll be our turn again in a few years, but it's never dull when he's involved in the Prem.

Then why are they doing this? Mind games for the S̶p̶u̶r̶s̶ second-place trophy?
Because they simply don't like each other and don't shy from showing it?

It's genuinely baffling how people try to search for some between the lines shit in this.

Not everything is mind games, they are humans and they have emotions. They aren't machines to spout pre programmed bs all the time.

Thing is, he was talking about himself and Conte felt offended.
This would be all well and good if either of us were actually in a title race.

Maybe he just says something without trying to gain something, I don't know. He was answering a question about the lack of passion. But I guess he should have skipped that.

What does Conte try to gain with demenzia senile comments?

Com'on people, You've been whining for the real mourinho, the bullish one, the smiling one, the arrogant one that enjoys himself. When we're finally seeing him, getting him back these last few weeks. People are moaning!

His comment was petty, yes, it was also a good comeback even though I wouldn't have replied the same if I was in his shoes.

That's the Mourinho of before, you can't have it both ways. He thrives in this kind of conditions.

When there's 1 point between us and the team below us they are our rivals, and anything you can do to get to your rivals is a positive thing. It only needs to annoy him enough to make one mistake, to drop a couple of points for it to keep us in 2nd. I'm not saying it Will, but for the sake of a few seconds of a press conference which he's not going to gain anything off anyway, why the hell not? Jose has been very good at doing this his whole career, he's not going to stop now.

I don't think Jose was entirely talking about himself, he probably was to an extent, but he was also setting a trap for one of the other managers to walk into, and Conte ran into it like a raging bull. Now what can he say in return to that? Sorry is about the only thing, and that makes him seem weak. It's a shame we aren't playing them this weekend.

Obviously I'd rather see us beat them on the pitch, but hell if I don't enjoy this too. And maybe it'll stop him acting like a twat for the cameras every 2 minutes, which would be nice too.

He even pointed to himself doing that in the past.....

And this is not the first time that Conte fell in the trap of journalists when the question involves Jose.

And I haven't seen people getting all dramatic when Conte said, let's avoid the Mourinho season at the beginning of the season.

Another day, another fight. Jose gets into more spats than a Wodehouse character.
Hope the wolf eyed twat gets the sack from Roman soon.

I found him amusing in the start, but now he is just tiresome.
 Conte does look like if he wasn't successful he would be smelting the rings off corpses. I want him gone now, and as Manchester United fans we have the right to make that call. His celebrations irk and he could brush his all day and still look like a young Selwyn Froggitt. To my knowledge he has never done anything for charity, though I quite admire him for that. There's enough goodness in this world already.

How did this spat start? I'm enjoying it but I've no idea why it's happening.

This.

«What is he trying to gain».. Mourinho hates the guy and if he can rile him up then that’s enough gained!
