and then what happens to Martial on the left with Alexis?! it would put serious doubt in his WCup selection. This move would unsettle him...Alexis will be 30 this year! No thanks!

Not that we ever really know these things for certain, but I'd have been cross had we not tried to sign him.

The odds are firmly in City's favour though.:(

Don't be sucked in, don't be sucked in this...

Probably his agent. But, wouldn't it better than to deny it as it will look like we lost big transfer battle and Mkhi is involved in the story. If we did make a bid and story is completely true, we certainly had contact with Sanchez and his agent. Which in the end, also doesn't mean anything because his agent would welcome that to get even more money from City.

Fecking hell.

Could he play for us in CL? Cup tied for europa.....
Yes.

No, I just can't stand people who constantly do us down at every single opportunity.
To be honest he does become our best attacking threat....even though it’s not going to happen. I should of said hypothetically shouldn’t I?

It’s not the same though. First of all the rumours of the players you mentioned aren’t damaging for the clubs reputation if they don’t go through. Second, the rumours for this one is undoubtedly a lot stronger.
People are struggling to understand this, comment on a random player aren’t required, but if every direct rival or agent used our name in a big deal to drive up price we would shoot it down instantly.

He can play in the CL. I imagine City want him in the winter window instead of waiting until the summer so they have even better chances for the Champions League this year. Doubt they feel they really need him for the Premier League.

Arsenal would rather sell to City than us and he'll surely choose City over us if trophies are his aim in the next few years. Doubt there is anything in this.

Give them Mikhi+ all the money he and Arsene needs and GET HIM! It's not my money. If he can be lured here, then go on and do it! He's proven time and time again that he's a kind of player who gets something from nothing and has brilliant attitude and work rate. Absolute feckin no brainer.

Such garbage. Not going to happen, using a fake link so when he goes to City he will have snubbed us and another win for Pep.

Media are scum.

Nonchalantly scoring the winner...
You're underestimating Woodward, with our sponsorship spiderweb network, he can offer a range of Chevvy cars, Adidas gear, tickets to the cinema with 20th century Fox, budget Russian plane tickets, a case of mid range red wine (Casillero De Diablo), subscription to Deezer, a New Era cap, a tag heuer watch and a lifelong membership to Uber premium. Keep your boats.
You're forgetting the key one - NOODLES.

An endless supply of noodles for both Sanchez, and his dog.

"You must be hungry from all this negotiating, Mr Sanchez..."

Ignoring the fact this isn't going to happen...

Is Sanchez effective on the right? I know he's at this best cutting in from the left, but with Martial and Rashford, a 30 year old (albeit a world class one) winger to take over on the left would be a kick in the teeth for them.

That Vidal saga was hilarious though. He even signed some United shirts during that summer pre season.
Yeah, my favourite one after Thiago. Probably the saga that started the whole "Announce [player name]" thingy on Twitter.

Would love him - but surely he would choose City. Play for one of the best teams in Europe right now (and a great attacking setup) and Pep or us where he won't get as much freedom. I know which I'd choose right now (if I was a neutral player :) )
Aren’t you a neutral fan?

The Italian connection that may give more credence to Di Marzio is that Inter might have briefed him that Mhikitaryan won't be joining them, just speculation but when it comes to Italy Di Marzio is considered one of the best, or was.

There's only really two possibilities here:

1. Agent is just trying to hurry up Man City or trying to get a few extra millions for himself and Sanchez.
2. We've been informed that Sanchez hasn't legitimately made up his mind on City and the most favorable terms will get his signature.

In both cases, I am happy that we are at least doing what we can to get one of the best players in the league.

All this ‘just a ploy to speed up City’ seems pointless to me. Thankfully, that speeding up has already been put into place by the FA implementing a bloody transfer window, which means City don’t have all day with or without us.

Also, it always gets me how definitive people can speak about the intention of others. I also would put him more likely to join City, but the way some are talking.... ‘0% chance’ etc, all baseless.

Edit:

strange that the only 2 PL clubs he follows are Arsenal and United accounts. Even though Aguero is his player but he doesnt follow City.
