What in the name of feck is going on on Monday Night Football with the Sanchez discussion? He's costing us over £100m because for some reason Neville decided to count alleged wages as part of the fee and then is comparing it to the £200m paid for Neymar and £140m for Coutinho without bothering to count their wages. Everyone has just competely lost their shit with this deal.
I took it as, Sanchez ordinarily would cost you closer to £100m without taking account wages. Neville was also working on the understanding that everyone knows the overall cost of the Coutinho/Neymar deals - rather than comparing the overall Sanchez deal with that of the transfer fees of Coutinho/Neymar.

Got to feel a little sorry for Mhky. Ripped up the German league, and was so keen to come here. Didn't he quote how proud it'd have made his dad etc?
Then now, completely out of trust, and just used as a pawn to bring a much better player in, and he's suddenly got to move 200 miles away to a lesser club.
Sorry for him how?
He was overweight in pre season (remember that pic), and it’s all about performances; only one person can control that...

He got plenty of chances and failed to deliver.

He cannot match our ambition :)

Always thought he looked like Ross (David Schwimmer) from FRIENDS.
We won't be there for him when the ArsenalFanTv starts to pour.
It's not been his year
To me Mkhitaryan is a dead ringer for Desmond from the early Assassin's Creed games...

Well he did score the winner against Tottenham at OT in that 1-0 (great run and smashed it into the roof of the net) and he also seemed to score at will in the Europa League. I'm sure had he not got that run of form in the europa league, we may not have won it. He was our guy for that tournament.

But hey, fans are fickle.
I’ve been supporting United for the best part of my life and am in my 40s. Best be careful throwing around a “fickle” tag on me.

I simply think City didn't expect that their team would be flying like they have. Sanchez would be a luxury signing for them at this point with Sterling and Sane in brilliant form. They can barely give Bernardo Silva the playing time that his talent deserves. Sanchez could disrupt the dressing room and screw up morale between players, especially with the wages being thrown around.

On the other side, United really need a star player in attack.

Sanchez is desperate to get away from the sad state that Arsenal is in, and he would get a very lucrative contract while being the new star at United.

I would be quite surprised if we don't have this in the bag, but it wouldn't bother me too much if City suddently came back in and got him. I just don't see why they need him that much, unless they are worried that Aguero and Gabriel Jesus isn't enough for the striker position.

Mkhi has been given more than enough chances to be a success for Utd and he's come up woefully short.

His big game performances have been bordering on farcical.

The total outlay for Neymar is probably 300 million. Thats how transfers are viewed by the money men at football clubs.

He was good in EL but really not that good.
And you mention that one goal vs Spurs. It's simply not enough. Not even close.
I'm not saying these things to justify him staying, I'm just fighting his corner a little bit. The guy gets shafted on here constantly. He clearly has the talent, but he just needs his hand held a bit and Jose doesn't do that, therefore he hasn't settled. He has been poor this season, I agree, and I think it would be best for him to go, but I do feel bad for him it didn't work out.

I don't enjoy seeing united fans just stick their fingers up in his face and telling him to feck off. Doesn't deserve it in my opinion.

Yep, 2 long spells where we've had to leave him out in a year and a half says it all.

The tone was set v City last year where he didn't chase that ball into the corner, and suddenly they'd scored.

That is actually concerning. Isn't that too much? Pogba, DDG and eventually Martial and Lukaku will want similar wages, too. Aren't we blowing the wage structure out of the water?
Let Woodward do as Woodward does. Leave the nail biting, meltdowns and crazy predictions to us and we'll leave him alone with his abacus.

Imagine the meltdown if we're just selling Miki to Arsenal without any swap deal

Worse clubs than Arsenal to be fair. Especially once Wenger leaves.

Only United pay wages. Players choose to play for historical giants like PSG and City for free.

Well I for one would never say it like that. I'm just saying his United career has been really a bad one.
Also I get that he needs his hand to be held but that doesn't cut it with Jose and in United imo.

Totally agree.

Such a bizarre and unbalanced comparison.

People are saying that Neville said his piece tonight well, but I would totally disagree.

What annoyed me with that discussion is this.
City won't pay the money to Arsenal that they want. That alone would but doubt in Sanchez's head because they are not willing to fight for him...
Same reason I don't think De Gea cares that much about the Madrid move. They've never put in a bid properly for him. Bound to annoy a player no matter how much you sweet talk him.

De Gea finally found their partner in Sanchez who loves dog much so they can share a story and discuss dogs topic, join Sanchez for walking park with dogs, etc. Can't wait for bromance <3

Red Card for Casemiro!

Aboslutely.
Money is the cheapest thing they can offer. Game time, importance, preferred positions, guaranteed future - not so much.
If you can't even offer the cheapest option to kickstart negotiations, how is the player supposed to gauge your interest in him?

On the other hand, we have Mourinho, publicly praising him, going OTT wages for him, and promising him a starting spot and a winning mentality.
No wonder his head has turned.

Sanctity, like a cat, abhors filth.
People dont like the "swap deals dont exist" brigade because the truth hurts.

And the official title is actually the "swap deals are very rare" brigade. But its pretty typical of people outside the brigade to not bother to check their facts.
