I think it's a solid lineup. Pace and creativity up top, Midfielders willing to get stuck in and defense not too bad.

    Lindelof - shite
Smalling - shite with the ball
    Young - can't defend
    Valencia - can't cross
    Matic - legs are gone
    Herrera - headless chicken
McTominay - fresh off the boat
    Sanchez - world class
    Lukaku - donkey
    Mata - sideways and soft

    What a team!
It's basically DDG & Sancez against Sevilla.

Last week I would have said the talk of a rift between Jose and Pogba was rubbish, but now I am starting to think there might be.
Its true. Jose hates youngsters with hairstyles.
He talked highly about Scott not having new hairstyles and Scott starts.

    It is so obvious!!!

I mean i'm not saying this means a comfortable win or anything but the the last 2 times away from home that featured those players ended up losses. IMO Jose would be more mentally stupid and stubborn to go with that lineup than he is going with this. At least here he's switching some things up. '

Guy is really damned if he does, damned if he doesn't.

Goes with that lineup again and he losses for a 3rd time and people would be whining about him being too stubborn

Switches it up like he is here and well you've read the thread.
It is all about results. If we win Jose will be praised and rightfully so, if we lose he will be criticized. We are the favourites in this tie, so we expect Sevilla to be knocked out after two legs. If they progress, then Jose will be the first person to be held responsible.

Is anybody really surprised that we have started with 3 defensive midfielders?

He's gone there to shut up shop and play for a 1-0 because this is the Mourinho way.

Time to give this match a miss, hope we win this.

Think you better go and support another team, at least until we sign Messi and Ronaldo.

Hi lads, I've been too busy to follow team news tightly over the last couple of weeks. I sort of get the stuff with Pogba (although does anyone?), Martial being on the bench not that surprising anymore, but where is Shaw?

He was doing really well for a bit, not so long ago. How come he's not even on the bench? Apparently he's not injured? What's the issue here, anyone?

Some might call it brave to leave out Pogba but I say fair fecks to him, he’s paid to make big decisions not listen to cnuts like us or bullshit hacks but if we get beaten or even a draw and we’re shit he will be coming under increasing pressure.

Jose loves Young and his crosses probably

I do love the blind panic on the caf after a team lineup announcement.

I'm going for a 2-0 win. Goals from Lukaku and Sanchez.

Think it's worth noting that McTominay starting tonight further illustrates just how much Mourinho trusts him.

This is Mourinho we're talking about, he'd sooner play a 35 year old out of position if the alternative was to play someone he didn't trust. So kudos to McTominay for that. He shouldn't be the subject of derision just because he's taken Pogba's place at the moment.

Jose prefers Darmian for the bench fullback option for this game. Shaw did travel to Seville with the squad.

    No Martial, meh.

He may be wanting to ease Pogba in. Whatever it is, better do well tonight, that midfield looks extremely ordinary without Pogba.

Decent line up! Would have preferred Shaw but let's hope its the good type of Young that shows up.
    1-2 United.

It's definitely looking like lesson time from Mourinho. Hopefully he's not too wedded to proving a point and brings Pogba on for the last 30 or more. If he doesn't start vs Chelsea, well then it's over and we're fecked.

If he starts Pogba against Chelsea and Pogs screws it, that's it we're fecked and he too

Plus, Pogba's always doing that 'dobbing' thing those young whipper-snappers are banging on about on Youtub or whatever it's called this week. As a United fan of three-million years, I'm right behind Jose & his War On Terrible.

Think we should give Jose the benefit of the doubt to secure a result how he knows best. Can resume criticism if we get humiliated but for now I'll hope for a masterclass. I just hope this doesn't end a hoof fest

Well let's say, Pogba didn't like Jose speaking on his behalf earlier before the cup game then he made him self un available and now Jose punishing him?

Our fans on twitter really are ridiculous at times.

Pogba and martial fanboys actively wanting us to lose to prove a point. Clowns.
